In the past 8 months, it has gotten worse. Hurts more when sitting, or my pants waist line sits on it. My periods are irregular. Did CT scan and pelvic ultra sounds, nothing has been found.
Hi. My husband has had pain on his right lower side of stomach lately. The pain is there only when he's standing up but the pain is gone when he's in bed laying down. He's 65 years old and hypertensive. He takes Ziac, Pletal, Vastarel, Captopril as maintenance drugs. He also has hietal hernia and GERD and for this he takes Zantac at night. What could be the cause of the pain on his lower right side of stomach?
In mid April I started having abdominal pain on the left side. The pain was mainly right below my rib cage and on the lower left side. I also had some small bursts of pain by my heart and on the lower right side, where my large intestine starts. The pain would worsen when I ate and would practically go away when I passed a stool. And when I was hungry my stomach would start to tighten up.
But yeah my pain started right where my appendix is, sort of radiated up that side, and the pain changes from one kind of a pain to another. I do feel it more when I drive, i assume just the position of the chair. And most recently it feels more like a side cramp like a stitch. For the most part my pain is going away, but its gone away before and come back.
Do you by any chance have any other symptoms?
I have been experiencing pain in my right side at the bottom of my rib cage for the past several months. The pain gets worse after I eat certain foods, and worse when I am sitting down or lying on the right side. When I am sitting it feels like something is squeezing my rib cage very tightly. The pain sometimes radiates to my back and up to my shoulder blade. When I lay on my back I sometimes feel a squeezing, contracting,sensation. The pain is almost always present it just varies in severity.
I just received the CT results saying that everything looked normal. I am still experiencing the dull pain and I have aches on my right side and on the lower right side of my back. I am hoping I will get to see a specialist (my insurance willing) because this has been going on for to long. I had something similar happen to a friend which turned out to be a chronic appendicitis which after about three months burst and almost killed him.
From Last 1 week I have suffering pain in my Lower back on the right side and in my stomach on the right side . The pain started from the Ribs on the front side but has now gradually moved to the back side. Also , there are Bumps on my skin on my back (wherever there is pain )
My Stools are normal and the Pain seems to worsen after I have eaten food. My Stomach feels floaty even if I eat little, even though I am still hungry. I feel Sleepy and there is a constant noise in my ears.
I'm 10 weeks 6 days and I just experienced a sharp pain on my right side by my ribcage anyone know what it could have been?
Such an undiagnosed pain is usually due to adhesions and cutting the adhesions takes care of the pain. Pain under right rib case can also be due to pleurisy, asthma, or any other lung problems. Usually this is accompanied by lung related symptoms like breathlessness, cough etc. Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please discuss with your doctor once. Hope this helps. My question would also be.....specifically where is the pain located? If you described your pain to your doc a lower right side and they took out your gallbladder, something doesn't 'jibe.' Gallbladder pain is usually located in the upper right quadrant. The only pain typically associated with the gallbladder that might be lower would come from spasms at the sphincter of Oddi - a place where the common bile duct enters the duodenum.
I'm 13.3 wks pregnant at work abd suddenly having sharp pain on right lower side of abdomen. Anyone else have this pain?
for the past 2 or 3 years i've had stomach pains that would come and go once in a while so i tryed not eating dairy which seemed to help for a little but after a few months the stomach pains returned. other then a few stomach pains i've been really healthy and almost never get sick. i'm now 15 and for the past 7 months the stomach pains have gotten alot worse and more often. i also have severe diarrhea almost everyday and had blood in my stool for about 2 week but it just went away.

I am 37 and have been experiencing lower right abdominal pain which at times radiates across my abdominal area. I also at times feels like fluttering in my stomach and a burning sensation at times also. When I sit for a long period of time it feels like something heavy or hard is in there but my stomach does not feel hard upon touch. At nights at times it feels like a shart stabbing pain if I lay on that side or will hurt if pushed hard. I had had a cat scan and it showed nothing.
This is a micro-organism ( bacteria) that lives and hides in the blood and usually attacks the stomach lining or lower aesophagus.Apparently the pain may be moving towards the right side as well as the left( sometimes) I am taking heavy medication but pain still there.I'd advice you to go check if you have H-Pylori.It may be the cause.
Hi I'm a 16 year old girl, I've been having problems when I go to the toilet, it's not hard like it should be its just all runs...with this I get no pain what so ever but when I lie down I can feel this lump or a hard bump that's come up on my right lower stomach underneath my navel and right next to my pubic boan, someone please suggest what I should do?
i get side pain on my right lower hip, right between the pelvic bone and the hip bone. the pain goes back about 2 inches and feels like im being stabbed. its not constant, but every few minutes depending if i move or not. i went to a doctor and he said i had a weak intestinal wall, but he didnt treat it because he wasnt sure how or if he was even right. are there other problems in this area? he ruled out ovaries and apendix.
I have some soreness on the right side below the ribs and some times a little discomfort around the back, I have never had any serious problems in the past or with kidnesy or gallbladder, I recently stopped drinking coffee I know this sounds weird but could that have something to do with this discomfort?
I agree with your comment on the cyst and have always thought this. One thing on the lower right side issue, this is more of a soreness versus a pain. I have had this for 3-4 years now. The abdominal and back issues just started a month ago. The abdominal stuff is also more of a soreness most noticable when I sit. When I stand and lay down I dont really notice it. As I meantioned no other issues such a fever, nauhea, etc except what I would call nervous stomach.
