With new pain under your left rib, have you noticed any bowel changes? Constipation, bloating, or diarrhea? Also have you been on a heavy course of antibiotics lately?

Hi, I'm 24 weeks and 2 days pregnant and I am having a terrible pain on my right hand side rib just below my boobs. It's so painful when I breath. I try to lay on my left hand side and it's still painful but when I lay on my right it's not as bad... Its been happening since about 22 weeks but not as much as now.. So uncomfortable!!

But even before that i have had this pain in my lower left side of my stomach. I have had tests done and they have found nothing. The pain comes and goes. Usually after i eat something and walk around it gets very painful. I no there is obviously something going on. i just don't understand why they can't find anything. Could you possibly give me some answers?

i am 33 weeks pregnant and i am experiencing a severe pain in my uper left side of my stomach and its very tender like if yhu rub your hand across it it will hurt an i cant lay on my lsft side at all an it hurts wen i raise up or try and change sides an it even hurts when i sneeze and cough and i hav a bit ov a cold so i hav ben doing alot of that.

Hi I am 33 y/o male. I've had left side pain (front near ribs/side) for the past 3 months now. The pain comes and goes, seems like it gets worse after I eat too much, sit in certain positions, lie in certain positions etc. CBC and urinalysis are normal. Ultrasound of stomach area didn't find anything abnormal. What could this be? If it is muscle strain how come it isn't getting any better? Are there other explanations?

Mostly upper right hand side but sometimes on the left hand side. If its worse, yes it goes back also. I don't eat fattly meals. My diet is very simple and healthy, lots of fruits, vegetables, beans and soup. I use to do yoga/exercise a lot but because of this pain, I am trying to stay away.

Hi how are you I have been suffering from pain in my left side. ive been to the doctors a good many times. most of them all say its to do with muscle. but my pain is usually the top half or middle back pain. I suggest to try to some back exercises you can find them even on YouTube to strengthen that part of your back. it is all to do with posture maybe even try sleeping on your right side I have been trying to do that.

Your baby will let you know when to not sleep on your stomach. Left side because better blood flow to your baby. I still sleep on my belly sometimes, and I alternate between left and right side because my hips hurt. My babies are perfectly fine.
