Prio to the hep C curse I was getting a pain in the middle toward the center of my stomach it came on slowly and became very very intense I even went to the Hospital they say it was kidney stones Ha Ha My current dr is going to do ultra sound as anyone had this type of pain

am having pain in my right side, middle chest area and it radiates to the middle of my back nothing eases it at times i feel nasuated

I have been having pain under my left rib cage and in the middle of my chest, where my sternum is. Dr prescribed Aciphex about 2 weeks ago. I haven't felt relief yet. It doesn't get better or worse with food. Had an Upper GI & Small Bowel series done on Thursday, all clear. After the barium test, I had severe pain in RLQ, thinking appendicitis but the pain didn't stay. Could it have been an allergic reaction to the barium? I had an ultrasound on Friday, pelvis and abdomen...

The last two weeks i have had a dull,some times sharp pain in my upper middle stomach.That will not go away unless im completely relaxed.Along with having diarrea atleast 3 times a day.Sometimes not able to hold it.Also alot of fatigue.I just dont feel like doing anything any more.Now i have lost 10lbs in the last two weeks.It really starts hurting after I eat something...anything really.So i feel oblivious to eating.Anyone know what it is?

when i woke up this morning i was having pain like right under my boobs &+ it was a constant pain , there for a while then goes away &+ comes back . i also have pain in the middle of my stomach when i bend down . i was just wondering if this is normal ?

I find that when the cold winter months set in my IBS symptoms get much worse. specifically pain above the stomach.3 hours after the meal,the pain arises. This always happens in the winter and then improves when the weather gets warmer.when i was in coastal area,no pain in my stomach.what is the solution for this weather related problem.

Hi guys - really hoping someone can help me. I am a 30 year old male about 175 lbs and 6'1. I am having a pain that is tender to the touch in the middle upper stomach area. It is quite a bit above my belly button and right below my chest. I have no diarrhea, vomiting, fever, or really any other symptoms that may cause red flags outside of some minor constipation. I am eating normal and the pain is not there until I actually press on my stomach or bend my stomach awkwardly.

it started on the first of the month. I got some sort of cold/ fever got up to 103f. Hi, I haven't been able to find anything on what I'm feeling. I was told I had Acid Reflux but looking at the symptoms, I don't feel like that is right. A few years ago I started to experience incredible stabbing-like pain in my stomach after I ate. I went to the Gastrologist and now I've been taking 20mg a day of Prilosec. When I would forget to take it, the pain would come back later that same day. Now, that pain has come back, even while taking Prilosec. No heartburn.

ll be 33 weeks tomorrow and I completely understand the pain lol. Mine is mainly sciatic pain, hip pain and recently upper back and painful feet at the end of the day. The best way I found to cope is with warm showers or baths before bed. Good luck!

Hey Ladies (: I'm about 16 weeks and a first time mom and I understand I can't lay on my stomach or back. Ive been trying to sleep on my side but I'll wake up in the middle of the night in horrible pain on my hip of the side I'm laying on. I tried a pillow between my legs and nothing working :( any opinions or things I can do to sleep better?

t changed to perhaps start the pain; the pain comes in waves and gets more intense and then goes away after a couple of second, around 3 or 4. I'm a little off put of eating now as it's causing me great discomfort. i feel pain in my chest and middle chest area ,also feel on the back side sometimes when my stomach is empty i had constipation some 7 months before , bcaz of rectal injury. i didnt treat properly so i got some stomach disorders. it feel more difficulty in eating hard food sometimes afraid of eating foods. from several months i felt pressure in stomach area also left side of chest , and i think bcaz of this i got pain in my back of head. due this problem my eyesight is not good sometimes.

the pain in my stomach is like someone squeezing, not stabing or burning but like a constant squeeze.. if i do eat something like broth or crackers the squeeze gets tighter, but the "squeeze" is always there. the pain is mostly in the upper middle pf my stomach although ive had some pains moving to the right and back since yesterday, dont know why that is... the pain is from the belly button up to my ribs. i dont know what else to do i have to wait to talk to the doctor tomorrow.

I usually treat with blue Ice/Hot, and heating pad, and tylonal until the pain subsides which is sometimes for a couple of days. Yes a doctors visit is needed.

Make sure that you eat when you're taking it. not a lot because that can make it slightly less effective, but you need to have at least a few crackers on your stomach...narcotics are notoriously rough if you take them without food, but they don't absorb as well when you eat....it's a conundrum. If you have consistant stomach pain and eating doesn't help enough, you may have a hiatal hernia.
