stomach pain gas swelling

I have pain in my lower stomach - it is related to gas and it comes and goes but it is severe - this is the second day - I did have a colonoscopy and have diverticuli (sp?) - any advice? I am 8 weeks pregnant and I am having sharp pains in my stomach area with some swelling and the pain is making me sick. My doctor prescribed some anti nausea medication that said it can cause constipation is this what is happening? What can you take while pregnant to help?

t aware that laying on their right side can cause gas to build up in your colon and form a gas bubble. The way the colon is shaped and with the gas rising upward, when laying on the right side it gets trapped in the ascending and transverse sections of the colon and is not as easily expelled as it is when laying on the left side. I recommend trying some OTC treatments like beano, gas X, prilosec, prevacid, Mylanta, mylox etc. for a few days.

Has anyone triggered using Ovidrel and had fairly strong stomach /back pain 24-30 hours later? Feels Luke bad cramping/gas. Is this normal??

They finally got a little better the beginning of this week, but I still had the swollen stomach. Last night and today, no stomach pain, no swollen stomach. I have celiac and I started taking the new Celiact viatamin. I dont know for sure that this is what made the pain subside, but I took the viatamins for the first time yesterday, and last nite was the first time, no pain. Do you have celiac disease? IBS? or anything like that.

ever since childhood ive had gas issues, but now as an adult I am either unable to sleep or im waking up early in the morning in so much pain I can barely move because of the gas and discomfort in my stomach. so bad it makes me vomit. the only way the pain goes away is if I take a hot bath, vomit or go to the bathroom. what could this be?

hello, im a 22 year old for the past two years i suffer from stomach pain ,gas stomach and frequent diarrhea. i was advised to avoid lactose food ,so i did and the gas felling have diapered but still i have very frequent diarrhea and daily pain with bowel movement. my blood work came back with CRP 0.54 in a scale from 0.1 -0.50. and ESR was 28 when normal below 20. what can cause my problem? thank you in advance.

Did the doctor offer anything to treat the swelling and pain while you are waiting? Hopefully you will be busy with the job training and able to distract yourself from the discomfort.

I have recently started having some stomach problems. Around 2 months ago I was experienceing lower left abdominal pain which felt like gas and bloating, which presisted untill about 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago everything I would eat started giving me indigestion and my stomach started to spasm and cause pain under my upper left and right rib cage. I started taking prilosec and antacids about 6 days ago. Starting yesterday I became naucious and have lost my appitite.

I had my gallbladder removed 4/11 and since the removal i still continue to have pain on my right side and my stomach is still bloated.
