ever since childhood ive had gas issues, but now as an adult I am either unable to sleep or im waking up early in the morning in so much pain I can barely move because of the gas and discomfort in my stomach. so bad it makes me vomit. the only way the pain goes away is if I take a hot bath, vomit or go to the bathroom. what could this be?
I had my gallbladder removed 4/11 and since the removal i still continue to have pain on my right side and my stomach is still bloated. I've cut out most fats, good and bad, gluten and dairy, i'm pretty much eating lean turkey, chicken and veggies which still seem to cause pain and bloating. Any ideas on what is causing this?
I am a 25 yr old female and I have almost constant stomach discomfort which makes me have to pass gas because its the only way to get any relief. Its bad all the time but even worse at night when I'm lying down. I've tried eating yogurt every day and taking Metamucil, I've also tried gas-x and all that but it hasn't done a thing. Hi I've been having these issues too first started off in lower right abdomen up to navel and back to right side flank , now it's moved from the lower right to my back on walking and after food my whole stomach feels like I've got immense gas causing stomach pains , I've been in hospital and the stupid doctor sent me home failed to tell me I was highly anemiac (get that checked out) and they still don't know what the problem is , my recent docs appointment surgessted my intes
No just a pain in lower stomach and my stomach growls alot, I know its gas, but why doesn't it move. Once in awhile I will have sharp pains in my stomach and have to rush to the bathroom. I know thats part of the IBS. But why I get these pains in my stomach only in the morning is strange. My GI doctor just passed it off, like it was nothing. I also noticed that I don't belch that much. Even if I do drink a soda or beer once in a great while, maybe once a year or so.
I am experiencing severe stomach pain like someone is sticking a knife into my stomach. I get really gassy and have heartburn or my chest hurts. My mom seems to think it because I am not drinking enough water and I am dehydrated. I just dont think she is right because I am drinking water. Merry Christmas all! I'm having a bit if a nightmare...could be down to self indulgence and over eating yesterday- although I don't actually think I ate more than usual, but I am suffering with stomach pain. It's like a constant pain around the whole stomach. I think it may be trapped wind and have tried yoga positions, hot water and hot water bottle but no joy! i have been having really bad gas pains it's not cramps because shortly after I pass the has the pain stops I'm 6weeks pregnant anyone else experiencing bad gas?
She has not been able to eat much of anything without having stomach pains and going to the bathroom immediately after eating with diarhea. She even wakes up in the morning and before she eats or drinks anything, she has to go to the bathroom. She nas not had a normal bowel movement since the surgery and she tried to eat a hambruger and she threw up and had stomach pain.
t aware that laying on their right side can cause gas to build up in your colon and form a gas bubble. The way the colon is shaped and with the gas rising upward, when laying on the right side it gets trapped in the ascending and transverse sections of the colon and is not as easily expelled as it is when laying on the left side.
I recommend trying some OTC treatments like beano, gas X, prilosec, prevacid, Mylanta, mylox etc. for a few days.

Swelling of the stomach after eating can be due to gas and bloating. This is induced by gastritis or hyper-acidity. A change in diet, use of bland diet and having a diet rich in fibre - fruits and vegetables and probiotics will help. Consult your Doctor.

My stomach feels uncomfortable with cramps and after I eat, I burp, and get gas and my stomach even gurgles. I have had cramps in my stomach over the last 10 years but now I get a lot of gas, burping and gurgling and I get nausea too. Once the gas releases it helps release some of the cramps. I can't eat very much.
What could it be and what kind of test should I get?
I had a ultra sound done and also had my stool checked and they both are normal.
When I go to bed, if I lay on my left side my stomach will make really loud noises like I'm hungry. It's so loud that it wakes my wife. If I turn onto my back or right side the noises stop. There's no pain associated with it or gas. I've tried eating before bed and not eating before bed and nothing changes. What could cause this?
I have been suffering from gassy stomach (gas pain) and mild/medium heartburn for couple of weeks and have been taking (RX) CARAFATE for about 10 days and today I am taking PREVACID as well, my condition shows no improvement, does anyone knows or had suffered from the same problem? I don't want to go seeing kind doctor afraid he would put me through all kind of test, I need help.
