t aware that laying on their right side can cause gas to build up in your colon and form a gas bubble. The way the colon is shaped and with the gas rising upward, when laying on the right side it gets trapped in the ascending and transverse sections of the colon and is not as easily expelled as it is when laying on the left side. I recommend trying some OTC treatments like beano, gas X, prilosec, prevacid, Mylanta, mylox etc. for a few days.

ever since childhood ive had gas issues, but now as an adult I am either unable to sleep or im waking up early in the morning in so much pain I can barely move because of the gas and discomfort in my stomach. so bad it makes me vomit. the only way the pain goes away is if I take a hot bath, vomit or go to the bathroom. what could this be?

I had my gallbladder removed 4/11 and since the removal i still continue to have pain on my right side and my stomach is still bloated. I've cut out most fats, good and bad, gluten and dairy, i'm pretty much eating lean turkey, chicken and veggies which still seem to cause pain and bloating. Any ideas on what is causing this?

hello, im a 22 year old for the past two years i suffer from stomach pain ,gas stomach and frequent diarrhea. i was advised to avoid lactose food ,so i did and the gas felling have diapered but still i have very frequent diarrhea and daily pain with bowel movement. my blood work came back with CRP 0.54 in a scale from 0.1 -0.50. and ESR was 28 when normal below 20. what can cause my problem? thank you in advance.

I have recently started having some stomach problems. Around 2 months ago I was experienceing lower left abdominal pain which felt like gas and bloating, which presisted untill about 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago everything I would eat started giving me indigestion and my stomach started to spasm and cause pain under my upper left and right rib cage. I started taking prilosec and antacids about 6 days ago. Starting yesterday I became naucious and have lost my appitite.

I've been having constant stomach pain that feels like gas and I've been bloated for the past week and a half. My period is due this week Wednesday, but I've never had these kinds of symptoms before. Could be anxiety I know anxiety gives me stomach pain also could be the meds I know before I was diagnosed with anxiety I went to the e.r. with stomach pain and the doc treated me for giardia (without a stool sample, boy was I stupid) Anyway the meds made me way worse on the stomach pain so you might want to check the side effects of what your taking.

ve had the same thing you have and I attribute it to gas having trouble moving through the intestines. For this you can try gas-x. I was also having a lot of pain due to this problem though so I cut out all gas producing foods and the problem stopped.
