stomach-pain

Avatar m tn I have been running all summer with no problems but when I started going to practices, I was getting intense stomach problems during and after. Lower stomach craps, intense diharrea, lack of appatite, and barely wanting to drink water. I eat enough during the day and drink a lot of water but still I'm having problems.
Avatar n tn It is very painful during but It helps you feel a lil relieved when you are done a lil sore and warn out but the pain and sourness in my stomach goes away after I have a bowel movement. If you do try to go to the bathroom when you have this feeling be carefull with the pain and how hot you might get at least thats what happens to me. I have fainted before because of it. It helps to take deep breaths and close your eyes and have a cold rag to put on your face. at least thats what helps me out.
Avatar f tn Lately, I have been running almost everyday or do a short workout in the house. It is followed by intense pain in my lower stomach similar to the pains I get during my menstrual cramps. This pain occurs though when I am not on my period. Sometimes after running a mile it is so intense I have to lay down until it goes away. The pain usually doesn't last more than 10 min. The more intense the workout the more intense the pain. It does not feel like it is a type of muscle pain.
Avatar n tn If I run fast to catch a bus, or if I run/jog over 25 minutes or so, I often get this extremely intense pain in my lower stomach, nearly faint from it. It starts gradually, gets more intense and is at it's worse about 15-20 minutes from start... then gradually subsides within 50-60 minutes from start.
Avatar m tn If you are sitting at your computer for long period of time that would explain the neck pain, stomach cramping, and chest pain...no movement for extended periods of time. You need to get in the habit if you are on the computer of practicing correct ergonomics and change your position at least every 30 mintutes. Your stomach is sitting in the exact same position as well as your neck back and chest..try raising your hands over your head , wiggle your fingers when you do it....
Avatar m tn My Problem: I am a competitive cyclist on a semi-pro cycling team. I find that when I'm riding at an intensity greater than 70% V02MAX, which is the effort I can sustain for one hour, that after about 10-15min my stomach starts to get very upset. It hurts so much that I normally have to get off the bike. For the next 15-30min the pain will increase and I'll start to have yellow diarrhea for the next 1-3 hours, at this point the pain subsides a bit, say 3 out of 10 on the pain scale.
776539 tn?1235582251 I often, 3-4 times monthly, have instense mirgraines that begin in the front of my head(right above my eyes) and then increase in pain towards the back of my head (near the brain stem). The intense pain caused my ears to pop and nausia. I have vomitted multiple times within an hour due to the uncomfortable pain. The headaches last up to 3 days. I would almost compare it to a bad hangover but it lasts longer. I noticed that the more intense migraine revolve around my menstral cycle.
Avatar n tn It's quite normal not to be hungry after exercising -- that's one of the benefits of regular exercise, it actually can diminish hunger. People differ in what they need to do to exercise -- if you watch pro athletes interviewed about their eating habits pre-game and post-game, you'll find very different needs . Humans differ.
Avatar m tn it comes and goes like that, particularly after a long walk or after tennis. i am very active and try to get exercise every day of the week. i went to a podiatrist and he said it was achille's tendonitis and to rest it for a few weeks. i did and it continues to happen. is there any other possible reason for why? thanks.
Avatar m tn Your symptoms are common after strenuous exercise. Soreness of muscle after exercise occurs due to fatigue and lactic accumulation after continuous intensive exercise. The redness of the face and other symptoms occur due to vasodilation as a measure to dissipate the heat produced. This essentially means that you have been overworking lately without acclimatization.

Avatar m tn When I was done with them,I got some pain in my stomach, with just less than 30 mins of exercise is that good or bad? Healthy or not?
Avatar f tn Running exacerbated heartburn more than other types of exercises. If your heartburn worsens or only happens when exercising, it might be because the blood flow to your digestive tract diminishes during exercise, making your stomach and intestines work less efficiently, allowing the valve to open unnecessarily. Waiting approximately one hour to workout after eating might help reduce your symptoms. If you are prone to heartburn, check your diet.
Avatar m tn I exercise 3-5 times per week very strenuously and never feel any pain during or after exercise, even my most intense cardio routines. My exercise is 90% of the time either competitive volleyball, weight lifting, and cardio/circuit training. I've always exercised and remained active and my diet is relatively good. I don't smoke, and I drink 1-2 alcoholic drinks probably 3-4 times per week, usually red wine. I'm 6'2" 210lbs, probably 12% body fat.
Avatar n tn They vary in length of time. from seconds to minutes. The pain is intense. My Dr, Dr. Azizi of Temple University in Philly, a neurologist,. said he though it was a pinched nerve in my back that was causing it. So I had surgery one year ago this month. I got spasms one hour after I was released from the hospital. So much for the surgery. The Dr said he had never seen this before.
Avatar f tn then you should be ok to exercise. Just trust your body and start back slowly. If you feel pain or weakness, then stop and take it more slowly. The main reason women with open incisions (a laparotomy) can't exercise until 6-8 weeks is because the stomach muscle have been cut deeply and healing must take place both inside and outside. If pressure is exerted on the muscles too soon, you can develop a hernia or incisional healing issues.

Avatar f tn I notice that whenever I do moderate to intense exercise, or even anything involving lower stomach muscle engagement that I always end up in pain after. I took zumba and then stationary biked last night and I was awakened by extreme pain in the middle of the night and have been in pain all day! Avatar n tn My son is 12 and experiencing chest pain, starts dull and builds to intense pain during intense exercise (hour long hockey practice). If he pushes himself too much by mid-way through, he has to stop and then the pain stops within 5-10 minutes. The doctor has him taking prilosec before practice but it still happens. No other symptoms and it's only during intense exercise without breaks. He is lactose intolerant and had colic as a baby, could this all be stomach acids or something more?
