s doctor and seek some professional help for yourself to help you move on. It sounds like she has a stomach flu, which is in NO way related to HIV. For starters, if she HAD had an HIV risk (which she didn't), her symptoms are not at all consistent with symptoms of acute HIV infection, both in the nature of the symptoms and the timing.
You need to let this concern go, and most definitely do not worry your daughter and cause HER to be anxious about nothing.
It could be related to a reaction to something in one of the meals/snacks from Nutrisystem, or more likely it could be a bout of stomach flu which is not really a flu. It's proper name is viral gastroenteritis.
Usually gastroenteritis resolves within a few days.
You should suspend the Nutrisystem program for now, stay hydrated and follow a bland diet-dry toast, rice broth or plain
rice, bananas, applesauce also known as BRAT diet (acronym).

The term stomach "flu" is actually erroneous (that's not a dig at you, everyone uses that). Almost all stomach "flus" are viral in nature, and have nothing to do with influenza. Unless someone is diagnosed with actual influenza, they don't have a "flu". That's one of those terms that has just grown over the years.
Handwashing is THE most effective way to stop the spread of communicable diseases and infections.
Stomach flu can cause indigestion and abdominal discomfort. Viral gastroenteritis can lead to nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. The exact location of pain and other details will help in determining the accurate cause .Take light meals. Avoid spicy fried foods. If the symptoms are severe consult a gastroenterologist.

A complete medical history, clinical examination and work up are important for correct diagnosis and management. The causes related to nausea,diarrhea,abdominal pain are food poisoinng,gastroenteritis,stomach flu, lactose intolerance, irritable bowel syndrome etc.Parasitic infestations like amoebiasis and giardiasis will also cause watery stools, abdominal cramps,nausea,fever etc.She should take a light diet and drink plenty of water. Your symptoms could be due to a number of things which are difficult to assess on net. It could be due to viral fever, gastroenteritis or stomach flu, acidity, or anxiety and stress. If you are feeling nauseous, then you can take antacid gel. Talk to your parents as discussing your worries often helps. Also, exercise, walking, yoga is therapeutic.

It sounds like a bout of Gastroenteritis (stomach flu).
I don' t think your FTM HRT has a role in this.
Can you post some details, regarding your history of
Epilepsy? Treatment, meds and any other details.
Not that I believe, it has much to do with your symptoms
in your post, but perhaps I can offer you some further
insight.
-loose watery bowel movements
-low fever
-abdominal cramps
-aching muscles/ possibly headaches
If diarhea and vomiting persist for more than 2 days see your Doctor.
Any child with both vomiting and diarhea should be taken to a Doctor right away.
Also see your Doctor if:
-blood in vomit or stool
-hard, swollen, painful abdomen
-high fever
-chills
-excessive thirst
-excessive lethargy or feelling of exhaustion
-dizziness of lightheadedness on rising or changing position.
On day 7 of a severe case of gastroenteritis. Everything seems to have calmed down, but once I try and eat anything stomach cramps start, which are unbearable. Sometimes followed by diarrhoea. Is this normal after a severe case of gastroenteritis or do I need to see my G.P again?
ive had no symptoms, no rash, sore throat, or swollen glands. i went to the ER on Wednesday because of a stomach flu and turns out i had Gastroenteritis, they did blood work there but it came clean. can i move on from this ordeal or do i have to get tested again? and how reliable are the rapid finger prick tests?

For the past year, I've had chronic diarrhea, nausea, severe belching (no bloating though), nausea and vomiting off and on, low grade fevers, and my stomach makes horrible, loud watery gurgling noises all day. It all started with an "intestinal flu" that EVERYONE in my workplace contracted last March, (right after a co-worker's dog suffered an "intestinal infection" which cleared with metronidazole.).
If you have a stomach virus, your best course of action is to stay hydrated & let it run its course. The reason you keep going or vomiting is because your body is getting rid of the virus, if you stop it, the illness will last longer. It *****-but unfortunately that's the truth.
Hello! I seem to have unfortunately caught gastroenteritis. I was given Ondansentron and it helped immensely. However, I can't sleep. I'm so wired and my stomach still hurts but luckily, no side effects. Is this normal? Is it the gastroenteritis or the drug?
The "flu" is a respiratory virus. If you are having vomiting and diarrhea, it is most likely a stomach bug, or gastroenteritis. The biggest worry is dehydration. Try to stay hydrated, drink lots of fluid and get lots of rest. If you are unable to keep anything down, they may have you be seen for I'VE fluids. I'm in WI too so I hear you on the snow storm! Avoid heavy foods, stick to clear liquids like broth and bland foods like toast or rice. And plenty of water!!!

ve been diagnosed with bacterial infection in my stomach after i went to the hospital to check out stomach pains.
