stomach flu january 2010

Currently i have swollen lymph nodes under my right chin and it feels like there is something on my throat,though there is no more pain, is it possible to catch sinus from kissing. I did not take any medication, for this flu/sinus.Is sinus flu a deadly condition?

On 15th of january,2011 i had my period. last period ended on 24th dec,2010, This period ended on 19th january,2011. Again my next perod happen on 12th Feb,2011 and ended on 18th Feb2011. From Day before yestarday i am having high fever and today i am feeling like having sour fruits(pickle like food). Is there any chance that i am pregnant?

Hello. My last period started January 31, 2010. I had a normal cycle but I went to the hospital on March 1, 2010 for stomach discomfort. The nurse took a urine sample and told me I was not pregnant. I still have not received my period and it is now March 8, 2010 and I have been having an uneasy feeling in my stomach. Could the hospital have made a mistake and I could indeed be pregnant?

I was told I could use Echinachea for an immune booster thank goodness because I am pregnant with twins too. Delivery if not sooner will be January 7th, 2010. Best of luck ladies! Keep healthy :D!!!

Ohh I posted about this a while ago, YES! Terrified!! I had my son in the summer, so this is new to me. Driving in labor, an hour to my doctors office (plus visits before that!) and then driving home with a newborn, in the snow, I'm so scared! Plus colds and bundling the baby up, going out in snow at all, it's all scary for me! My winters are also pretty bad here, in NY.

I recently had the 2010 flu combination shot, and three days later i started having symptoms of vertigo. The symptoms proceeded to get worse, the nausea, cold sweats, and the feeling of everything around me spinning. I had to go to the ER and get meds. and be tested, cat scan, EKG, in case it was a life threatening problem. I have never had vertigo before. I didn't hit my head or have fall down to have caused the vertigo, and I didn't have a cold or flu symptoms.

i had the stomach bug back in January and than the stomach flu, however i am still dry heaving. Any idea what would be causing this?

The flu shot is for respiratory flu, not for the stomach flu. A girl I knew got the flu toward the end of her pregnancy and it turned into pneumonia and she had to have an emergency c section at like 30 weeks and she ended up passing away from it never having been able to hold her baby because they had to put her in a medical induced coma. That being said, I have gotten a flu shot with every pregnancy and every year to protect my little ones with weak immune systems.

Hey, so I joined December 2010 babies and mine was born on November 30th lol! Anyway, I still consider myself part of this group anyway! Olivia is doing very well, she has 8 teeth through and a few more already trying to "poke" through, she gave up the pacifier about 2 weeks ago and has recently gave up her noise machine also!! Only issue we're really having is getting her to eat ppl food!!

If it only lasted a couple hours and not several days it was food poisoning...most people get it without even knowing it because they automatically label it as "stomach flu" if your doctor said 2 go if it doesn't go away I wouldn't worry about it if it's finally over with...

My 2 yr old son has just vomitted for the 3rd time since I've been home (12am) and 1 more time before that. He pukes and doesn't have a problem passing right back out. For example his last time he roled over and puked, cried a tiny bit and then he passed right back out. 3 days ago I contracted, what I thougt, was food poisening, but all last week my wife's mother was really sick with something... seems to be a coincidence!
