Do you have a history of anxiety? Anxiety can be caused by a myriad of issues. In my experience anxiety can tend to ebb and flow sometimes without any major explanation.
I have a daughter who has been treated for seizures, she also has a learning diability and now has developed tremors in her neck and wrists. Her nuerologist has told me that this is called Myoclonic Encephalopathy syndrome. She is being treated with something called zimpat. Any info about this sydrome or medicine would really help.
So two days ago I took castor oil, it cleaned me out and have me mild contractions for about an hour but then they just stopped. So yesterday I took the castor oil again but on top of that me and my mom had a very lovely dance session together for about an hour. I had slight cramps but nothing major so I laid down and went to sleep. I woke up at about 11pm in so much pain i was crying to my mom. So I waited 30 minutes to see if they would die down.
I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
I used it for several months during w/d from hydros and then I had major problems from using the Ambien as prescribed NEVER abused it. It has taken me months to get over it. My sleep is just now returning to normal the ambien does more harm than good in the long run. I know it is awful to go without sleep and that the over the counter meds don't help when w/d from hydros or norcos but be very careful with the ambien. Should never be used more than 7-10days per Ambien website...
I agree about talking to the doc. You might consider melatonin, though. It's OTC, safe, and works well for some people. I've been using that off-and-on throughout treatment. Go with the lowest OTC dose, though. It's a natural compound and if the body gets too much it just ignores the signal.
Also, talk to your doc about Ambien (lasts roughly 8 hours) vs. Sonata (lasts about 2 hours).
The Z sleep meds, (Ambien & Sonata) can be hard to taper off due to their relatively short half life. Talk to your doctor about using a Dr Ashton style taper where you switch to valium & taper off that which should help minimize the side effects you experience.
Your GABA receptors have become tolerant to these drugs & it won't get any better if you continue with them but you should be able to taper very slowly using valium without too much discomfort.
Has anyone had any luck with using vitamin d for depression and anxiety? I've been on medication for a while now and was just wondering if their was anything that would help with depression that wouldn't have such bothersome side effects.
I have been on several blood pressure medicines, hydrochlorthiazide, vicoprofen, Xanax, motrin 800, for those 13 years. Since my doctor retired I had to find a new doctor in my area of which I did, he left after 1 yr of which he was replaced by a diff. doctor at the office, I stayed there. I also have hypo thyroid disease.
Me and my wife made a decision to get me on a short life narc, get off the Sub, stay on narc for a week, then wean down and just go thru w./d either at home or in detox for the narc. This would NOT bypass the bad PAWS, but it would get me thru the BAD 10 days or more of the detox from Sub, This is exactly how they do it in the rehabs that get people OFF Sub. So I called the ONLY person I knew who could possibly get me a short acting narc that would "match" the Sub.
What are the symptoms? How intense are they? How do they compare to hydrocodone w/d? Can I work? Do you get that INTENSE craving? With hydro w/d, I'm bed riden for 3-4 days..... Any input would be great...
D i was very happy to know i had started! Altough it was very heavy so heavy that i would wake up every morning distroyed and thos caused me missing a day orvtwo from school! The period lasted heavy for 5 days and settled down after another two days! (i had started my first period on the 27th of november) then that meant i was due for 25th of december(xmas day) but it never came??? I havent told my mam yet! I dont feel like have bad cramps or any thing really!
We put our eldest hes 9 next week on booster in front and i sit between our 4 year old in a toddler set and daughter on booster seat in the back.
