sonata

Avatar m tn It's 8 in the morning and I did not take the Sonata last nite. A little jittery but not much. I think I will leave off all of it l off and see how it goes. Not much can be worse than the constant jitters.
Avatar m tn s ability to learn how to adapt to stress and interfere with REM sleep, and of course are addictive with quite a withdrawal kick. Although you only used it for a short time, people are different in how they respond to quitting -- it should be done gradually even after short term use if that use was continuous as opposed to as-needed occasional use. Don't know anything about Sonata, but all sleeping pills can be habit forming.
Avatar m tn Nobody officially accused me of forging but the pharmacist looked at me like I was a criminal and the doc never verified the script as of Mon. I didn't want to deal with them anymore so on Monday I told the pharmacist that I cancel 2 of the prescriptions on Sunday and if she didnt get the memo then, here it is again "Cancel all 3 prescriptions now". They put a label on it and I tored the script in front of her face and walked out.
Avatar n tn re having trouble falling asleep or going back to sleep if you wake up during the night. My doc prescribed Sonata. Amusingly, it works great as a placebo: I haven't taken a single pill yet; just knowing it's there if I need it has been enough so far. Good luck!
Avatar m tn I have been on several blood pressure medicines, hydrochlorthiazide, vicoprofen, Xanax, motrin 800, for those 13 years. Since my doctor retired I had to find a new doctor in my area of which I did, he left after 1 yr of which he was replaced by a diff. doctor at the office, I stayed there. I also have hypo thyroid disease.

1205076 tn?1310609559 I feel better after I take a shower and can breathe in moist air. I breathe very shallow at night and I have to prop up on a lot of pillows. I wake up several times during the night and I toss and turn a lot. My mouth is very dry and my throat is raw, too. Already, I have been diagnosed with: sarcoidosis (lung, liver), fibromyalgia, osteopenia, chronic cough, high blood pressure (controlled), and severe osteoarthritis.

Avatar f tn t working too well, but the trazodone worked almost the opposite on me - instead of making me sleepy, I layed in bed all night long staring at the ceiling! I stuck with it for a few nights, thinking it maybe was just "one of my nights", but after about 4 nights, I decided it just wasn't working for me.

Avatar f tn thats really secondary to the fact that as madtram mentioned, there DOES need to be a taper. taking these drugs in excess for days or even weeks at a time then stoping is REALLY not good for you. yes, there is a seizure risk...but as you're already feeling, there's the risk to your sanity as well. benzo withdrawal cold turkey is VERY difficult for someone who is dependent on them in ways that go well beyond the risk of seizure.

Avatar n tn I get up and do something quietly in another part of the house so I do not disturb anyone else. I read or balance the check book, or put in a load of clothes in the washer. Or go online and e-mail my friends and relatives. I have the freedom of going back to bed later when I am able to fall asleep. My life has changed and will not be as it was before. I can't have that life back. So I try to adapt and accept the circumstances of this one.
Avatar f tn I am depressed over this as well as postpartum issues and have just been put on Celexa for anxiety and depression as well as Sonata for sleep by a recommended psychiatrist. The Sonata is too short-acthing though. I called the doc on call but he does not want to prescribe anything stronger until tomorrow, if adding melatonin and/or benadryl does not help. I am currently wearing a holter monitor and have also worn en event monitor recently.
285848 tn?1219092313 It was just awkward because it felt like we had broken up. We have talked to each other before when he have seperated in the past and this is what it felt like. I don't really know why because we both know were together still.. He moved out because he doesn't really like living with my parents, which is understandable..but I would live with anyone as long as I got to be with him...He says he wants to try and gain some resposibility...
1141229 tn?1261008746 I noticed a small, hard, painful lump on my labia major. It's on the inside. I hurts when something rubs against it. I am a virgin and I am 16 years old. I can't ask my mom out of fear of what she will think... Anyone got a clue as to what it can be?
Avatar f tn i have taken it for years off and on without a problem...it is non-narcotic nor is it a benzo..i have never developed a tolerence to it and i just fall asleep 20 minutes after i take it...but it can be abused and there are people who have an addiction to nyquil and benadryl too...be careful with any drug you use..even OTC drugs...
Avatar n tn I am a nurse and have suffered from migraines since I was in my 20's. I am now 40 and finally went to a neurologist that specializes with migraines. I have tried every type of migraine medication(even herbal). You need to confirm that your migraines aren't related to your cycle (hormone levels) or something in your diet. There are so many different types of medications. Some work for me one week and next week they don't. I alternate my medications.
