sonata

Avatar f tn My Dr has me on Sinequan. Sinequan for sleep???? It isnt even helping the anxiety attacks let a long putting me to sleep. And everytime I go back for appt they just increase the dose. Why cant they give me a real sleeping pill like Sonata?? I am very frustrated and getting pretty crabby cause Im soooo sleepy!! I dont even want to be around myself right now let along others.
Avatar f tn Have you tried Ambien or Sonata? I take Ambien (have been on it for about 4 years) - some nights it works well and others it's like I've taken a tic tac - but there are nights when nothing short of getting hit over the head with a hammer is going to help me sleep! I used to be on the CR version of the Ambien, until my insurance decided it wasn't going to cover that formula any longer, so now I'm back to the 10mg dose.
Avatar m tn I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function. The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
1580703 tn?1651904887 thanks very much! I suffer from severe sleep apnea and I think it is damaging my brain. can these benza drugs damage cognitive function/memory?
Avatar n tn re having trouble falling asleep or going back to sleep if you wake up during the night. My doc prescribed Sonata. Amusingly, it works great as a placebo: I haven't taken a single pill yet; just knowing it's there if I need it has been enough so far. Good luck!
Avatar f tn I am depressed over this as well as postpartum issues and have just been put on Celexa for anxiety and depression as well as Sonata for sleep by a recommended psychiatrist. The Sonata is too short-acthing though. I called the doc on call but he does not want to prescribe anything stronger until tomorrow, if adding melatonin and/or benadryl does not help. I am currently wearing a holter monitor and have also worn en event monitor recently.
Avatar n tn I found OTC melatonin to work very well most nights, and both my hepatologist and my primary care physician approved of it during tx and after as well. Paradoxically, it works better at small doses than large, and the ones I bought at Trader Joes are large at 5mg. I cut them into quarters and take about 1.25mg each night. About 15-20 minutes later I can't keep my eyes open. On those exceptionally bad nights when melatonin doesn't do it, I take Sonata (Rx). Good luck!
Avatar n tn I am 26 years old I suffer from chronic migraines. Supposedly I have restless leg syndrome. Since I had diagnose they have change my medication 3 times. At first the doctor prescribed me tramadol 50 mg, then she prescribed Requip 15 mg and now they prescribed me Meripex .0125 mg. My question is Why none of those medicines I just mentioned help me with the symptoms I have?
Avatar m tn in Tylenol PM), 2 ounces of Nyquil, one Lunesta or Sonata (whichever I can lay hands upon), and one 1 mg Xanax (but not every night, to avoid addiction). When I can take all of it, ninety five percent of the time I sleep within an hour or an hour and a half. Without the xanax it still works about half of the time.
Avatar m tn Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob. not be hydrocodone in it as we had been discussing that I needed more pain relief.
Avatar m tn They would have refill dicflonac, sonata came in nx Monday 12/27 and percocet nx Thur 12/30. I was concern myself cause dicflonac and percocet are both pain medication and my routine pharmacist questioned me so I decided to wait. I realized now how ambien and sonata could conflict but the surgeon didn't give me any refills but the pharmacist didn't mention any of this so I doubt doctor shopping is the reason. Everything just seem so weird or lack of communication.
Avatar f tn Lol that's what I love when I play like in this moment and such hard rock the baby goes crazy and kicks hard lol
Avatar f tn All helped me for a time period of no longer than 2 months and I was back to square one again. Excedrin PM, Tylinol PM, Unisom, sleep gels; and so on but they just keep adding up. My doctor said not to take them but he wont change my prescription so do I just keep taking more and more over the counter sleep medications or not sleep at all? I'm only up to 4 over counters- 7 pills but I know that 1 or 2 hours of sleep might not be worth it if I get a side reaction.
Avatar f tn I am so exusted, and can only lay in bed with the heating pad for my bladder, but, etc,I walk around and try to do somethings and then feel like Im gonna collaspe. I am sooo sleep deprived....Ive tried trazadone, sereoqol, melatonin, valerian, kava kava, sonata, abmbian and the cr one, lunesta, rozarom. I went to the emergancy room saturday afternoon b/c was about to lose my mind and I was in pain, They were very nice, I told the doctor everyting.
Avatar n tn my dr just put me on sonata for sleep and i am being treated for add w/ritalin,lamictal for bpd, wellbrutrin depression, and nerourotin for nerve pain and a few days ago i started grinding my teeth together, looks like i am chewing gum all the time and i also am making grunting sounds.
Avatar f tn I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
1205076 tn?1310609559 Yes, getting a sleep study done is a good option to rule out sleep disturbances. However, since you have sarcoidosis and kidney problems, get an X-ray of lung to rule out fluid collection and a heart ECHO to look for failure. Anemia and lung fibrosis too should be ruled out Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
701713 tn?1228363498 Hi there; I've had the same problem, and I've taken sleep aids for years also. Now I take Restoril one night and the next I use over the counter sleep aids. I know how miserable it is not to get enough sleep. I don't like taking the sleeping pills, but in order to function at all, I have to. I stopped fighting it and take my pills and sleep. I can take 2 Advil PM and they work better than the perscription sleep med. Tylenol PM makes me sick at my tummy so I stay away from them.
Avatar f tn Well, I live in Northern California, so the Medical Marajuana is a popular thing here, and the only med I have tried so far, in the brownie form. It is very effective for getting rid of aches and pains, and inducing sleep, but if I ever tried it again, it would be after my last dose of medicine. The reason for this is, when I tried the brownies, I ended up taking my Riba and Boceprevir pills, 2 hrs late, because I was sleeping so heavily, and spaced out my phone, which had my alarm on it.
Avatar f tn It seems that every time I stop taking ambien for a few days and I'm feeling side effects. When I wake up my head is killing me, my kidneys are killing me, and I can't stop sudden movement. I have tried to stop several times though my doctors and with therapy but its like nothing works. I try to stick with it but if I have to deal with worst side effects. I can't believe I've been in this mess since '09 and I'm taking too many to even my prescriptions out.
Avatar f tn Melatonin is a natural sleep pill. Have you ever tried taking melatonin? It works really well for me. And I think that it is non-addictive.
Avatar f tn its sad that he think you can simply take an extra dose of klonopin to help you get to sleep as you and i both know, it doesn't work that way at all. do u have the option to find another doctor willing to restart valium for you? klonopin is a great medicaiton for anxiety but for those random episodes you need to restart a SSRI medication such as zoloft.
