Are these two drugs compatable levothyroxine and sertraline hcl? Does your thyroid control your blood sugar?
I also take meds for hypothyroid, depression (sertraline hcl), anxiety (PTSD), skelaxin, prn cyclobenzaprine (not with other meds), now tramadol hcl. Can someone validate my concern about waiting? Am I rightfully concerned or anxious?

I have had migraines for the past 20 years, normally I experience 3 or 4 migraines a year but since I have been taking Sertraline I have had many more than usual. I am sure that it is the Sertraline because I normally take it before bed and have woke up several mornings with the leftover pain from the migraine I had while sleeping ( before Sertraline I have never had a migraine during the night ).
Oh dear, seems this drug does not agree with you at all. I have been on those that do the same, but was fine on Sertraline. Some drugs suit some people but not others.
I think you need to see your doctor and tell him the problem and see if he can advise you on a different drug for your anxiety. You obviously cannot go on like this.
However, most mood medications do take 6-8 weeks to take effect, and you will feel worse before you feel better.
Have a bad headache and no pain meds at home. Have a little of the Buprenorphine hcl left from when my cat was neutered. It was given to him orally at a dose of 0.3cc. I looked it up and it looks like a "human" drug also, but am wondering if I am able to take this.
I do hae a little chronic bronchitis, but not full blown copd i don't think. What do you think? Could I take this. Should I add to water or put under my tongue,.
You are correct about there the MAJOR drug interaction between tramadol and sertraline (Zoloft). Please note that there are several moderate drug interactions with your medications, for example, sertraline (Zoloft), pregabalin (Lyrica), clonidine, and methocarbamol (Robaxin) all can increase side effects such dizziness, drowsiness, and impaired thinking and judgment when taken together. It would be a good idea to review your medication regimen with your provider and pharmacist.
Here's part of the problem -- it takes about 4-6 weeks to notice if a med is going to work or not. Side effects, however, start immediately, because all these meds are artificial to the body. Twitching is a common side effect of antipsychotics, but not so much with antidepressants, but we're all different. It might be a problem with magnesium, as these meds interfere with the absorption of magnesium (and vice versa if taken at the same time).
I have taken sertraline on and off for years with good results, however, we all react differently to medications like these. I tend to notice side effects whenever my dosage is adjusted by my prescribing doctor or when I initially start it or taper off of it. I believe that experiencing side effects are two fold with me.
Hello Ireland from UK. I took 150mg Sertraline once daily. I am on a different drug, but still take 150mg in one go. No problem with that. Your new doctor is right.
The sertraline lol now I take celexa and its not really making me feel too different from the sertraline but, im always all over my bf now ahaha and as for the anxiety the sertraline basically killed that monster lol
I know there is a lot of mind over matter with drug Addiction. I know thats not the problem here. I was at my wits end because of the symptoms and went to my doctor, two months ago, who prescribed sertraline for depression? Since posting here i have just gone and looked up Sertraline. It seems the side effects of that are very similar to withdrawal symptoms? Like i said i was getting symptoms before i started the Sertraline. In hindsight though it does seem to have gotten worse.
hi guys i need to ask you about sertraline ,anxiety drug, my doctor prescribed me ayt the begining with one 25 mg tablet a day, and after 2 weeks two tablets of 25 mg (50mg ), and after that he advised me to start taking 4 tablets bring it up to 100 mg sertraline a day. i stoped this drug for 2 months and yesterday i decided to take it but the last prescription the pharmacy made each tablet 100 mg.
Hi, does anyone know i you can take Amitriptyline and Sertraline at the same time. I have been taking Amitriptyline for a while for depression and pain but 6 weeks ago I suffered a stroke and my depression is worse so was given Sertraline along with the other.
I am coming down gradually off my anti-depressants, i was on 100mg of sertraline and im now on 50mg and trying to come off them altogether. So far im coping ok, i thought that coming down would unblock my emotions and allow me to feel my emotions instead of them being numbed, but so far i only feel a bit more emotional and still find it hard to cry. I would love to just have a good crying spell to get all the heavy sadness i feel out!
In December, I was given a a very low dose script for Sertraline/Zolft. I take 25mg in the am and 25mg in the pm. I love this drug, I don't remember the last time I felt so light and bubbly and happy! But I've been on it for 4 months now and still feel almost giddy, especially in my relationship with my husband.
