Sertraline and mirtazapine combination

Common Questions and Answers about Sertraline and mirtazapine combination

Avatar m tn Is there an existing drug interaction between Sertraline and Buspirone and/or Mirtazapine ? Or can a person's toleration of a drug change over time? I am also dependent on imovane/zopiclone to be able to sleep. Please help.
Avatar m tn I checked the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), and indeed there is a major mirtazapine (Remeron) shortage. I also called Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to see what patients can do and when the medication may be available from the manufactures. The pharmacist, Henry, advised us to report the shortage by emailing FDA at:
Avatar f tn I think my “depression” is controlled but I feel I can’t relax and can’t sleep and irritable and annoyed most od the time. Even when I use zolpidem/zopiclone I get a good nights sleep, but still feel miserable the next day. The reason I wound up on this combo was that when weaning the mirtazapine got depressive symptoms coming back and those were controlled by adding in a bit of sertraline.
Avatar f tn My doctor prescribed me Sertraline 25mg on top of my existing med. The first day I took Sertraline I got stomach upset and diarrhea; reduced to 12.5mg now. I m suffering side-effects like I'm having a fever(fatigue, sweaty, chills at times). On top of that, my menstruation's cramp is exceptionally bad this time, not sure it was affected by Sertraline. I am not sure this med would help me anymore. Hope someone could induce more positive effects about Sertraline.
Avatar n tn I recently started seeing a Psychiatrist and I am just not sure it's worth my time or money. I got Mirtazapine first. I took that for 1 night and was "stoned" for 24 hours. I slept like a baby and did not experience the somatic issues (i.e. aches and pains, racing thoughts) that I normally feel from the anxiety at night but the next day I was in a stoned stupor and could not function as well as I needed to. Next I was given Klonipin.
Avatar m tn Of these medications, paroxetine is the only one licensed specifically for the treatment of PTSD. However, mirtazapine, amitriptyline and phenelzine have also been found to be effective and are often recommended as well.
Avatar m tn For genotype 1 treatment naive patients, the treatment will be Sofosbuvir in combination with RBV and peg-IFN for patients with genotype 1, 4, 5 and 6 HCV infection. So the next new treatment to come to market in early 2014 for genotype 1 patients will have peg-interferon. Secondly, ultrasound does not stage liver disease. ONLY a biopsy or a non evasive liver stiffness measurement (LSM) can do that. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine.
Avatar n tn Since you mentioned the issue of talk therapy, I thought I would mention this. I agree 100% that you need to use a combination of the right medication and talk therapy and my primary care doc agrees. The problem is that I can't seem to find a therapist! Out of two he suggested, one is not in my network and the other has not called me back even after I left her two messages! I have a 9 page printout of therapists in my insurance do you fiind a good one?
610665 tn?1237851648 This is the sad thing about meds, you feel better when you stop and then it starts.. Paranoia and Anxiety are bipolar symptoms sadly, know them well along with their friend anger and rage and self loathing. There are some days where I almost wish to hear voices, at least then id have something to listen to other than my own thoughts.
