hold a glass in your hand with a non-alcoholic drink, so that others think your drinking and WONT ask you to take another "real" drink. That's what I used to do. Nobody knew that I wasn't drinking because of that glass of Pepsi in my hand. They thought it was rum & Coke, but it really wasn't... so no pressure on me.
It was great to be sober while partying because I got to experience life more naturally. I liked it.

is it possible to black out while taking sertraline, binge drinking (4shots of JD and 2 tall boys) in an hour and 20 minutes, with a medical condition of mixed sleep apnea, (oxygen drops to 61% and breathing stops 76.68 times in an hour) and have partial memory loss with maybe having violent actions during a black out? I am so confused.
5 mg of clonazepam (klonopin) three times a day (1.5 mg total per day) and 200 mg sertraline (zoloft) once a day for the past three years for an panic/anxiety disorder.
In this time I have avoided alcoholic beverages completely, and as you can imagine being a 20 year old to 23 year old and not drinking is no easy task. But frankly, I would occasionally like to be able to have a drink or two with friends. I go out to bars, and always order a club soda, but i'd like to get a beer.
Gulped 200 ml of 8%beer for the first time a month ago .felt a bit aggressive and confused.later I was in gross confusion and developed memory problems which continue to this day .I m 23 male .
I would consider passing on the alcohol because most of us with anxiety, and I think others will agree, get terribly high anxiety the day after drinking and sometimes a day or two after that as well. Taking your age and size into consideration, a little alcohol for you may be like a lot for others when mixed with zoloft. Let us know how everything worked out.

I have really bad health anxiety and I was on 25mg of sertraline until my insurance stopped and I could no longer afford it. I stopped taking the sertraline a little less than a month ago. I don't know if stopping the med is a cause for constipation. As of about 4 days ago ive just been super bloated especially at night. I usually get some relief from it in the morning but no use of the bathroom.

What anti anxiety are you taking? Also drinking socially should be fine. What isn't ok is drinking 3 beers and popping a Xanax.
Also what underlining issue are you worried about?
There is a term that is used widely when referencing the effects drinking alcohol when one has hep c. Drinking alcohol is the same as adding gas to a fire.Very compromising! These drugs are highly expensive and toxic, my recommendation is to respect that and give yourself every chance of possible SVR.
I just found out I'm pregnant. I tested positive with a hpt. According to all the apps and my lmp I'm at least six weeks. Up until this point I've stopped drinking caffeine and alcohol. But also up until knowing I have consumed alcohol. My Dr appt is next week...should I be worried at all that I may have hurt my baby??
m 34 yrs old, been diabetic for 12 yrs now... drinking alcohol will help shut down his kidney alot faster. is your friend on oral medications for his diabetes or insulin taking shots. It sound like he's in great denial about the diabetes all together and may want to get a good team of doctors, and nutristionist, and othe people together for support. But you have the need to be scared for your friend, i was in denial for almost 7 yrs.
There is not likely to be a significant risk from combining a low dose of Wellbutrin with moderate drinking. The risk that does exist would relate to the fact that alcohol withdrawal tends to lower the seizure threshold and Wellbutrin does the same. And believe it or not, you experience mild alcohol withdrawal during the night after you drink more than two drinks of alcohol (hence the disrupted sleep). So, the risk depends on how much more than two drinks you have....
It sounds like you had a bad reaction to the alcohol, and having drank some more, you started to experience it briefly. Try not drinking for a few days and see if this goes away. Green stool means it passed too quickly thru your system. Also, re-hydrate after vomiting and diarrhea, by drinking water, orange juice, and Gatorade plus you can eat bananas to replenish your electrolytes.
I dont think anyone should ever drink knowingly pregnant u just cant be sure (im not talking about ppl drinking before they know) ur body is not just urs anymore and drinking while bfing u can do but pumping and dumping does not get rid of the alcohol any faster u have a time frame that u cant feed baby in depending on ur alcohol intake

My doctor prescribed me Sertraline 25mg on top of my existing med. The first day I took Sertraline I got stomach upset and diarrhea; reduced to 12.5mg now. I m suffering side-effects like I'm having a fever(fatigue, sweaty, chills at times). On top of that, my menstruation's cramp is exceptionally bad this time, not sure it was affected by Sertraline. I am not sure this med would help me anymore. Hope someone could induce more positive effects about Sertraline.
