Before this i was taking xanax .25 for panic attics, which I took the xanax 3 x a day. So the Dr. said replace the 3rd xanax with the seroquel 25mg before be d to seep how it works. OK i start taking Seroquel Fri night. Sat. i feel tired a little out of it and feel like I'm gonna have a panic attack. I say OK it probably just the meds getting into me. sun feel the same way. Mon. feel like a zombie not in my own body, very jittery lightheaded. also i flipped out on my husband for no reason.
Doctors o Mehelp here have suggested Seroquel for sleeping for addicts. We are dependent on Seroquel to sleep. No big deal. You can take it long term with no bad effect. We could quit, and the only side effect would be that we couldn't sleep. Many people are not able to sleep with aid. Seroquel is the last thing i had to take on my journey of insomnia. Maybe it'll work for you too. You NEED sleep. Life is too hard without getting the REM that you need. We take one per night.
Xanax is usually but not always felt when it enters the blood stream. Seroquel on the other hand bulds up slowly but will never feel like xanax Seroquel is a med with mood stablizing side effects used mostly for bi polar.I personally would not choose seraquil for anxiety unless I had underlying symptoms.The benifit of seroquel is it stays in your system longer than the xanax does, it would also get rid of the comming down feeling you can sometimes get with xanax.25mg.
how much seroquel, xanax, and alcohol causes an overdose. im qworried about my sister, she ha been prescribed xanax for 8 years now at 2mg a day, so her tolerance is well established. she is also an alcoholic. thankfully, she knows not to combine xanax while drinking, but what about the addition of seroquel? could she OD from the pill combination alone? would then the addition of alcohol just pretty much seal her fate?
The knowledge that I have is that xanax and Seroquel do not have an impact on your liver. Also 50 mgs of Seroqeul is very low dose. I am on 600. However it looks like you have hepatitis c and you probably know you shouldn't drink because of that. There are likely a lot of medications that effect your liver. The only ones I know of are Tylenol and pain medicines that contain acetaminophen, but I am sure there are likely a lot more.

This Wed I went to see my Dr. and he prescribed Seroquel and Effexor, now correct me if I am wrong, but in order to get off Xanax can't I just ween off of it and take half a pill until I come of of it.

You can take Xanax too and Xanax being a sedative, hypnotic, anti-convulsive, anxiolytic medication will make you even more tired and dizzy since you are already on Seroquel which is very sedative in its anti-psychotic kind of med. You get the extended release which should cause less sedation but still when mixed with a benzodiazepine such as Xanax it will add up and make you feel like you mentioned above.
25 mg due to anxiety.Now he has asked me to stop the Xanax from tomorrow by saying that Xanax 1.25 mg is not a big dose.My question is whether it is alright to stop Xanax immediately even though I am on a similar dose of Klonipin and whether I may experience any difficulties in stopping the Xanax.I am on Seroquel 50 mg for anxiety.Thanks.
I am lucky enough to be perscribed Citalopram, xanax, and seroquel. am I better off just riding in the fg till this i over rather than bombarding my system with stimulants to make energy try to appear...I knew this was coming so I do have a generous supply of 1mg xanax which I am supposed to take 3 times aday but I took 2 for a while in preperation.....PLEASE some one share some info with me I called into work today and I can't do it again tomorrow...p.s.
and i almost had a panic attack today when i went..was on my xanax just 1/2mg...the serquil i been up and down on the doses..was on 100mgs at bedtime for 2 yrs..but wasent helping me threw the daytime..so i see my family docter he has me on this serquil..he put me on 200mg xr,s 1 at bedtime,,took them for 3 days made me a zombie..so now i take 25mgs 1 4 times aday,,even this makes me groggy throughout the day.....i cant find a shrink to help me,,so my family doctors been helping me....
I started on regular Seroquel after a manic episode that had psychotic features. I was stable for 3 years. I had lost a lot of weight, and the Seroquel dose started to give me a harmless but uncomfortable side effect. My dr at the time said I shouldn't be on it since I wasn't currently having psychotic symptoms and tapered me off it. I went from 450mg to 150mg and I was unable to sleep and my thoughts were disjointed.
so for 20 years my doctor has prescribed me Xanax and leaxapro for social anxiety..... 20 years!!! Never once did I abuse my Xanax. I needed it I needed it to be me... Xanax was my morning pill to face the world for days at a time! I became addicted..:: obviously I was clueless after 20 years because I told my doctor they don't work they make me LAZY! So he took me off them::: I couldn't go a day! The withdrawl is so severe and last for ever !
1 mg of xanax 4 x’s a day, seroquel 150 mg at night. So this was my new medication line up after switching psych drs. after 10 years. need a new beginning. not feeling good.
So this is what she added in. I am a homembody and fear the everyday so it was hard to get to some appts. what she was aware of in the beginning and after i missed 3 appt.s she called to tell me her office is to busy to help me even though she knew my issue.
So off to a new Dr.
First I have effexor xr 150 i tapered from 225 and that was hell. they were introducing prozac at 40 mg, then i take xanax 4 times a day at .5 and then the seroquel at night at 150 mg. He is my new Dr. and don't like any of them but his withdrawl methods -hmmmm. I don't get it since he has been practicing for so long. Wanted me to take Effexor every other day, take the prozac away --by doing every other day, and take one xanax and then one kolonopin until i drop the kolonopin.
