I am 19 wks pregnant and suffer from terrible allergies this time of yr and have to use salbutamol 100micrograms inhaler. I use it up to 3 times a day. My midwife is uncertain if I can use this while pregnant and I have read up on possible effects to the baby and I am terrified. Has anyone used this while pregnant??
I went to my family doctor with the complaint of producing more sputum than normal for 3 years. I thought there might be something wrong with my lungs. However, I have no breathing problems. The doctor said that he was listening to my lungs with a stethoscope and that he was fine and said I don't need an X-ray. But he gave me the nasal spray medicine. When I said that there was no change after 1 week, he prescribed different drugs.
I am now 45. The salbutamol spray suggested has definitely worked for me so i recommend giving it a go. Before I go to bed on those days when attacks are likely for me I take 2 puffs of salbutamol and it has reduced attacks in those months when i have remembered to take the spray.
I was born with eczema and I started to have bronchospasm few years ago. The doc said it might be asthma and prescribed me with salbutamol. However, i found that I don't have the common syptoms as asthmatic people .e.g wheezing or coughing, and it doesn't disturb my sleeping as well. I just feel the bronchi contract and chest tightness which go away after few minutes later without taking the inhaler. I've taken the inhaler before but i found it no use, so i didn't use it anymore.

I have been suffering from Pollen Allergy from almost 6 years. This started when I started to live in Islamabad. Here pollen allergy counts in spring are at very high from Paper Mulberry. Due to this I have a running nose and asthametic symptoms featuring suffocation and watered eyes. All this is reduced when i stay indoor.
t had any xray then, because I got pregnant August 2016 while taking my medecines, I gave birth May 21,2017 and always attacked by my ashtma, and now I went to my doctor and gave me co amoxiclav 625mg and salbutamol+guaefenesin tablet started taking October 18,2017, and had my xray ang got my result just yesterday, and result is upper right lobe infiltrates, ptb considered. what does it means ?

I am a 21 year old male living in Toronto, Ontario and do not smoke. I have severe allergies to most trees. For the past 6 years I have developed a chronic dry cough in the fall season until it snows in the winter. When I blow my nose, there is a sticky white mucus that comes out. I have been told by the allergist that this is asthma and allergies. I am taking 2 puffs of QVAR in the morning and night, half a tablet of reactine and singular at night, and Avamys in the morning.
I took her to the doctor who prescribed her Salbutamol cough syrup 3.5 mg 3 times a day saying that she has wheezing. Is it safe? It is not releiving the cough at all, already tried for one and half day. It is about the same.

Ventolin or salbutamol is a rescue inhaler, that means you take this when you have an episode of Asthma. There are reliever inhalers which work for up to 12 hours after taking each dose. Hi I hope someone can answer me. a month and a half ago i caught a very bad flu which caused my asthma to flare up. i took cough syrups with salbutamol because that's what i usually do when i catch a flu and my asthma flares up. and usually my asthma and cough would go away for about a few days. but i noticed after a week of taking cough syrup w/ salbutamol that my coughing is not getting better. so i went to visit my doctor after a few days and by then i was on my second week with cough.
I had stridor 7 hours ago and rushed to hospital as I cannot have salbutamol. I had adrenaline IM and also nebulised. 7 Hours later my heart rate is still sitting at 120 at rest and I have tingling in my fingers and hands, waves on pain in my left chest (that I had at hospital nothing showed on ecg), and short of breath. Should I be worried????
The result was non reactive. I inhale sometimes salbutamol because I have asthma. Do you think it can alter the result of the test?
if because of any reason some blood or sexual liquid of her(i know it is unusual but with accepting this) entered to this deodorant spray in the past and the virus og hiv remain in it and then after she sprayed it the viruses entere to my body(for example from a small hurt in my skin) and infect me. is there any risk of hiv?
Flovent inhaler contains steroids and is given to prevent an attack of asthma. Ventolin inhalers contain the active ingredient salbutamol, which is a type of medicine known as a short-acting beta 2 agonist. This is given when a person actually has an attack of Asthma, and is referred to as an ‘escape inhaler’. It would be good to have it with you, handy to use it when you need it. I'm not sure if there is a way to fix this. I have been to doctors multiple times about my breathing. They told me it is partially because of anxiety and partially because of really bad nasal drip that causes an infection in my lungs while I sleep. All they prescribed me was a Salbutamol puffer but it doesn't really help at all. I guess it is just something that I have to live with. You should tell your doc that you don't want to rely on meds.
Hi, my GP has changed my meds today from seravent, becotide and salbutamol to Symbicort turbohaler. I have never used a turbohaler before and am finding it really hard to "suck" the drug into me! I have read the instructions and followed them to the letter but it just seems really difficult to suck through. Is this normal? or could the turbohaler be faulty? Also does it matter if i hear 2 clicks when loading? Please help as really need it to work!
She said it was a nasal drip and possibly a chest infection and gave me a spray for the nose and and antibiotics, I took them for the time stated but nothing changed, and I went back, I then got sent for a chest x-ray again nothing showed so she was concerned that I may have sarcoidosis and sent me to see a Rheumatologist, who then sent me for blood test, urine test, ct scan with dye and a lung function test, I was told I had Mild Bullious Emphysema and Asthma.
