Taken at surgery on 2 successive days as emergency when doc had to treat me before others, been in daily since.
I was born with eczema and I started to have bronchospasm few years ago. The doc said it might be asthma and prescribed me with salbutamol. However, i found that I don't have the common syptoms as asthmatic people .e.g wheezing or coughing, and it doesn't disturb my sleeping as well. I just feel the bronchi contract and chest tightness which go away after few minutes later without taking the inhaler. I've taken the inhaler before but i found it no use, so i didn't use it anymore.
I like to use my nebuliser when I'm at home to treat my asthma because I feel it works a lot better. Everyone tells me that it is no better, if anything it's worse, than an inhaler with a spacer. Is it still okay to use my nebuliser? I would much prefer it!
e every night for about a week to get steroids and a nebuliser. These obviously help but I think there is an underlying cause. I suffer with Asthma but if I take my inhaler when I have croup it doesn’t effect it at all, I also have a preventer pump which I take every day.

I am 19 wks pregnant and suffer from terrible allergies this time of yr and have to use salbutamol 100micrograms inhaler. I use it up to 3 times a day. My midwife is uncertain if I can use this while pregnant and I have read up on possible effects to the baby and I am terrified. Has anyone used this while pregnant??
t had any xray then, because I got pregnant August 2016 while taking my medecines, I gave birth May 21,2017 and always attacked by my ashtma, and now I went to my doctor and gave me co amoxiclav 625mg and salbutamol+guaefenesin tablet started taking October 18,2017, and had my xray ang got my result just yesterday, and result is upper right lobe infiltrates, ptb considered. what does it means ?

I am a 21 year old male living in Toronto, Ontario and do not smoke. I have severe allergies to most trees. For the past 6 years I have developed a chronic dry cough in the fall season until it snows in the winter. When I blow my nose, there is a sticky white mucus that comes out. I have been told by the allergist that this is asthma and allergies. I am taking 2 puffs of QVAR in the morning and night, half a tablet of reactine and singular at night, and Avamys in the morning.
I took her to the doctor who prescribed her Salbutamol cough syrup 3.5 mg 3 times a day saying that she has wheezing. Is it safe? It is not releiving the cough at all, already tried for one and half day. It is about the same.
My breathing actually got worse and I ended up going to hospital where they put me on a nebuliser and gave me some steroids , antibiotics and an inhaler in case I start getting uncomfortable again. They also did a chest xray which was clear. The nebuliser did help in loosening up the mucus from my chest and I'm hoping the medication they have given me will speed up the healing process. It was very scary as my hands started tingling and my blood pressure was high.
This can cause bloating of stomach and consequent breathlessness. Check with your doctor for adequate control of asthma. Ventolin or salbutamol is a rescue inhaler, that means you take this when you have an episode of Asthma. There are reliever inhalers which work for up to 12 hours after taking each dose. I had stridor 7 hours ago and rushed to hospital as I cannot have salbutamol. I had adrenaline IM and also nebulised. 7 Hours later my heart rate is still sitting at 120 at rest and I have tingling in my fingers and hands, waves on pain in my left chest (that I had at hospital nothing showed on ecg), and short of breath. Should I be worried????
The result was non reactive. I inhale sometimes salbutamol because I have asthma. Do you think it can alter the result of the test?
Im waking up every morning with dark geeen phlegm though nor short of breath ar the moment I Havnt needed my nebuliser for a while.
for 2weeks now i have a very veryy bad chest infection the second week not quite as bad as the first on several occasions felt the coughing up flem was going to make me choke and on occatins vomit as the mucas was that thick and lots of it now that has eased i feel that any thing i eat wont go down my throat and stayes what feels like my throat and wind pipe area i am worrid should i go to the doctor again or is this common after chest infection ps during this bout of infection i have been using
Flovent inhaler contains steroids and is given to prevent an attack of asthma. Ventolin inhalers contain the active ingredient salbutamol, which is a type of medicine known as a short-acting beta 2 agonist. This is given when a person actually has an attack of Asthma, and is referred to as an ‘escape inhaler’. It would be good to have it with you, handy to use it when you need it.
