I was born with eczema and I started to have bronchospasm few years ago. The doc said it might be asthma and prescribed me with salbutamol. However, i found that I don't have the common syptoms as asthmatic people .e.g wheezing or coughing, and it doesn't disturb my sleeping as well. I just feel the bronchi contract and chest tightness which go away after few minutes later without taking the inhaler. I've taken the inhaler before but i found it no use, so i didn't use it anymore.
can i give salbutamol in 1st trimister thretened abortion?
I would like to ask if the ipratropium inhaler is available with the combination of salbutamol and what brand?
Possible treatments are glyceryl trinitrate spray or under-the-tongue tablets (as used for angina), glyceryl trinitrate cream applied to the anal area, or the asthma drug salbutamol (inhaled from a puffer at the start of the attack). These treatments are only available on prescription, for which you would need to see your doctor.

I am 19 wks pregnant and suffer from terrible allergies this time of yr and have to use salbutamol 100micrograms inhaler. I use it up to 3 times a day. My midwife is uncertain if I can use this while pregnant and I have read up on possible effects to the baby and I am terrified. Has anyone used this while pregnant??
t had any xray then, because I got pregnant August 2016 while taking my medecines, I gave birth May 21,2017 and always attacked by my ashtma, and now I went to my doctor and gave me co amoxiclav 625mg and salbutamol+guaefenesin tablet started taking October 18,2017, and had my xray ang got my result just yesterday, and result is upper right lobe infiltrates, ptb considered. what does it means ?

I am a 21 year old male living in Toronto, Ontario and do not smoke. I have severe allergies to most trees. For the past 6 years I have developed a chronic dry cough in the fall season until it snows in the winter. When I blow my nose, there is a sticky white mucus that comes out. I have been told by the allergist that this is asthma and allergies. I am taking 2 puffs of QVAR in the morning and night, half a tablet of reactine and singular at night, and Avamys in the morning.
I took her to the doctor who prescribed her Salbutamol cough syrup 3.5 mg 3 times a day saying that she has wheezing. Is it safe? It is not releiving the cough at all, already tried for one and half day. It is about the same.

Ventolin or salbutamol is a rescue inhaler, that means you take this when you have an episode of Asthma. There are reliever inhalers which work for up to 12 hours after taking each dose. I had stridor 7 hours ago and rushed to hospital as I cannot have salbutamol. I had adrenaline IM and also nebulised. 7 Hours later my heart rate is still sitting at 120 at rest and I have tingling in my fingers and hands, waves on pain in my left chest (that I had at hospital nothing showed on ecg), and short of breath. Should I be worried????
The result was non reactive. I inhale sometimes salbutamol because I have asthma. Do you think it can alter the result of the test?
Flovent inhaler contains steroids and is given to prevent an attack of asthma. Ventolin inhalers contain the active ingredient salbutamol, which is a type of medicine known as a short-acting beta 2 agonist. This is given when a person actually has an attack of Asthma, and is referred to as an ‘escape inhaler’. It would be good to have it with you, handy to use it when you need it. Has anyone had experiences with rapid cycling, with cycles that last hours or days? I was extremely hyper and had racing thoughts and was elated the other day, then I felt ok but lazy for a few days, then depressed for a couple of days and super tired, and now I am extremely irritable and I keep getting mad and yelling at people and just about everything.
any tips on stopping or coming out of rapid cycling episode more than likely already at bottom of spectrum right now, dr just says stick with meds and talking any other tips would be greatly appreciated
For me getting off Wellbutrin and switching to trazodone helped me sleep and slowed down the cycling. I know know that antidepressants can cause rapid cycling in people bipolar.
I am now working part time. The meds are tough sometimes, crazy is tougher. I am doing pretty well considering where I was at. I am not sure if I will ever be able to handle full time but I am glad to have my part-time job. I am no longer frantic about what mood I'll be in.
Well you might be experiencing rapid cycling now. The highest dose of Lamictal I took was 325 mg. At 600 mg. it might (again only a psychiatrist could make a conclusive judgment) push a person further into mania. Lithium does have a side effect profile like all medications but it is the only medication that was developed specifically for use as a mood stabilizer. There are other options as well regarding mood stabilizers besides lithium and Lamictal of course.
hi there just wondering how anyone else deals with rapid cycling, I'm talking about being up and in the space of a day I just can't handle this anymore. any advice?
