I was born with eczema and I started to have bronchospasm few years ago. The doc said it might be asthma and prescribed me with salbutamol. However, i found that I don't have the common syptoms as asthmatic people .e.g wheezing or coughing, and it doesn't disturb my sleeping as well. I just feel the bronchi contract and chest tightness which go away after few minutes later without taking the inhaler. I've taken the inhaler before but i found it no use, so i didn't use it anymore.
Ask him/her if you should also take pills to help you breathe, either SINGULAiRor something similar once in 24hr, and the inhaler. You should also have a rescue inhaler such as ALBUTEROL and use that only in emergency. I have posted a large post re: asthma and all, please read them, hope it will help you. Again do not overuse your inhalers. Keep an air cleaning machine in your home to filter out 99% of all polutants, you can get one for about $60.00 at K-mart or Sears. They help.
I would suggest you to try with saline nasal drops, mucolytics (like bromhexine/ambroxyl) and steam inhalation. Drink plenty of warm water. Any more doubts you are welcome.
I am taking 2 puffs of QVAR in the morning and night, half a tablet of reactine and singular at night, and Avamys in the morning. During bouts of coughing, I have tried taking my ratio-salbutamol puffer but it doesn't seem to help. Over the years I have tried a variety of puffers to no avail.
Since we are now at the end of November it seems as if most of my allergic triggers are gone, so it seems to rule out an allergic cause.

I would like to advise you to not blow the nose forcefully and try some saline nasal drops and mucolytics (such as bromhexine/ ambroxyl) if the mucus is very thick. Do stem inhalation that helps in clearing off the mucus and also opening of the sinus ostia. Also drink plenty of warm water.
If the symptoms persist or worsen please do consult your ENT specialist.

The doctors say my son has a severe sinus infection he has lots of green snot, eye drainage, fever, and thick green puss that feels like snot coming from his ears he also has tubes.
I am 19 wks pregnant and suffer from terrible allergies this time of yr and have to use salbutamol 100micrograms inhaler. I use it up to 3 times a day. My midwife is uncertain if I can use this while pregnant and I have read up on possible effects to the baby and I am terrified. Has anyone used this while pregnant??
Ever since I got my wisdom teeth taken out over a year ago, I've been getting a strange taste/smell in my throat and nose. It's not constant, but after I've had a bit of a cold or something it gets worse. It's mostly in my nose currently, and whenever I sniff I can smell it. I went to the doctor once and they prescribed a nasal spray (nasonex I believe). It helped but didn't make it go away completely.
Nasal rinsing using a neti pot or neil med sinus rinse may also help flush out anything that is in your sinuses and there is a much lower risk of bleeding since there is no medication, it's just pure saline.
t had any xray then, because I got pregnant August 2016 while taking my medecines, I gave birth May 21,2017 and always attacked by my ashtma, and now I went to my doctor and gave me co amoxiclav 625mg and salbutamol+guaefenesin tablet started taking October 18,2017, and had my xray ang got my result just yesterday, and result is upper right lobe infiltrates, ptb considered. what does it means ?
If allergy is present you can also include antihistaminics as it reduces the symptoms. Also try taking Mucolytics (like Bromhexine/ Ambroxyl) and steam inhalations. Hope it should improve. If there is no change in the condition kindly consult an ENT specialist as you might require, diagnostic nasal endoscopy and computed tomography of the paranasal sinuses. Any doubts you are welcome.
I took her to the doctor who prescribed her Salbutamol cough syrup 3.5 mg 3 times a day saying that she has wheezing. Is it safe? It is not releiving the cough at all, already tried for one and half day. It is about the same.
As of now, you can try taking mucolytics (ambroxyl/bromhexine), analgesics (like ibuprofen/diclofenac), saline nasal drops and steam inhalation. Also drink plenty of warm water. If you are smoking, please do refrain from it.
When I enter into a cool place from a hot and dry place it come across to me and i feel so much breathing problem and as well as sleeping problem. after some times some cough come out from my throat. some times I am taking salbutamol (Brodil) type medicine. Have any suggestion for me?

Before I go to bed on those days when attacks are likely for me I take 2 puffs of salbutamol and it has reduced attacks in those months when i have remembered to take the spray.
I had stridor 7 hours ago and rushed to hospital as I cannot have salbutamol. I had adrenaline IM and also nebulised. 7 Hours later my heart rate is still sitting at 120 at rest and I have tingling in my fingers and hands, waves on pain in my left chest (that I had at hospital nothing showed on ecg), and short of breath. Should I be worried????
The result was non reactive. I inhale sometimes salbutamol because I have asthma. Do you think it can alter the result of the test?
Since then I have felt very unwell, again generally run down, exhausted, lethargic, am very pale, clammy and keep having small attacks but I am able to control with extra puffs of my Salbutamol inhaler. I have been off work for two weeks and my doctor gave me a sick note to last another three. I am baffled at why I feel so very unwell. Has anybody else felt so utterly exhausted for such a long time after the initial attack? Hope someone can help, I feel like I'm going mad!
