I was born with eczema and I started to have bronchospasm few years ago. The doc said it might be asthma and prescribed me with salbutamol. However, i found that I don't have the common syptoms as asthmatic people .e.g wheezing or coughing, and it doesn't disturb my sleeping as well. I just feel the bronchi contract and chest tightness which go away after few minutes later without taking the inhaler. I've taken the inhaler before but i found it no use, so i didn't use it anymore.
On a few occassions i have even gotten out of bed to quickly and fainted from the combined pain and low blood pressure of being soundly asleep. I am female and my attackes tend to occur at the same time every month just before ovulation. I am now 45. The salbutamol spray suggested has definitely worked for me so i recommend giving it a go.
Ask him/her if you should also take pills to help you breathe, either SINGULAiRor something similar once in 24hr, and the inhaler. You should also have a rescue inhaler such as ALBUTEROL and use that only in emergency. I have posted a large post re: asthma and all, please read them, hope it will help you. Again do not overuse your inhalers. Keep an air cleaning machine in your home to filter out 99% of all polutants, you can get one for about $60.00 at K-mart or Sears. They help.
I am taking 2 puffs of QVAR in the morning and night, half a tablet of reactine and singular at night, and Avamys in the morning. During bouts of coughing, I have tried taking my ratio-salbutamol puffer but it doesn't seem to help. Over the years I have tried a variety of puffers to no avail.
Since we are now at the end of November it seems as if most of my allergic triggers are gone, so it seems to rule out an allergic cause.

I would like to ask if the ipratropium inhaler is available with the combination of salbutamol and what brand?
I can’t find any trigger I can be busy working and bam or I can be chilling and watching tv. I feel the blood pressure is doing damage to my nerves now as since, I’ve started having tingling down my arm and fingers, trigeminal and occipital neuralgia symptoms. My doctor hasn’t given any solid diagnosis yet and I’m just fed up with feeling ill and not knowing.
I know I won’t get a diagnosis here but wondering if anyone has had similar experiences or know of what possible diagnoses it could be?
I am 19 wks pregnant and suffer from terrible allergies this time of yr and have to use salbutamol 100micrograms inhaler. I use it up to 3 times a day. My midwife is uncertain if I can use this while pregnant and I have read up on possible effects to the baby and I am terrified. Has anyone used this while pregnant??

t had any xray then, because I got pregnant August 2016 while taking my medecines, I gave birth May 21,2017 and always attacked by my ashtma, and now I went to my doctor and gave me co amoxiclav 625mg and salbutamol+guaefenesin tablet started taking October 18,2017, and had my xray ang got my result just yesterday, and result is upper right lobe infiltrates, ptb considered. what does it means ?
I took her to the doctor who prescribed her Salbutamol cough syrup 3.5 mg 3 times a day saying that she has wheezing. Is it safe? It is not releiving the cough at all, already tried for one and half day. It is about the same.
When I enter into a cool place from a hot and dry place it come across to me and i feel so much breathing problem and as well as sleeping problem. after some times some cough come out from my throat. some times I am taking salbutamol (Brodil) type medicine. Have any suggestion for me?

I JUST POSTED A SIMILAR PROBLEM BUT COULDNT WAIT ANOTHER DAY FOR DOCTOR SO I WENT TO SMALL TOWN EMERGENCY. MY BLOOD PRESSURE WAS CHECKED AS WELL AS OXYGEN LEVELS IN BLOOD AND ALL WAS FINE.
MY DOCTOR SAID I WAS WHEEZING A BIT AND THOUGHT I MIGHT HAVE INFECTION. I ALSO SAID IT COULD BE ALOT OF DUST IN MY HOUSE AS I LIVE ALONE AND YOU KNOW WHAT GUYS ARE LIKE DUSTING. ALSO I AM NOT HOME MUCH WHEN I WORK SO IT COULD BE THAT.
I've been noticing a lot of leg jerks/twitches and other feelings of shakiness lately. I'm a 26 yo female in good health, and I recently had a physical with blood work. I'm slightly low on iron, but otherwise everything was normal.
I've been stressed out, and I drink a little bit of caffeine daily.
Anyone think that the twitchiness could be due to exercise?
I had stridor 7 hours ago and rushed to hospital as I cannot have salbutamol. I had adrenaline IM and also nebulised. 7 Hours later my heart rate is still sitting at 120 at rest and I have tingling in my fingers and hands, waves on pain in my left chest (that I had at hospital nothing showed on ecg), and short of breath. Should I be worried????
The result was non reactive. I inhale sometimes salbutamol because I have asthma. Do you think it can alter the result of the test?
