Common Questions and Answers about Sad violin sound effects

sad

Avatar f tn ve heard that somewhat soft and slower music is better, particularly harmonious, soothing music, like guitar, violin, piano, classical. Its recommended to avoid anything harsh or brash or discordant or startling. Its also strongly recommended not to use headphones or music directly against your belly as that amplifies sounds too loudly. I'd think bluegrass or country would be fine. I do a lot of classical or soft folksy stuff myself.
Avatar n tn My son is 16 (17 in Jan). Over the past 3-4 weeks he has suffered from serious memory loss or he's just lying. There's only 3 people in the house: him, his mother and me (dad). I cautioned him last week about flushing the tolilet. He swore he didn't go to the bathroom. It could have only been him.
Avatar m tn There is still a small amount of pain, but I am very aware of how much strength I am losing in my finger. I am due to start a Masters in university playing violin in 5 weeks so need to start rehabilitation of the finger as soon as possible, but don't want to further injure the finger.
Avatar f tn more important is, I am diagnosed last year that my neck bone degenerate at C5 and C6..and I am a violin player.. in the past 12 months, every time I practice my instrument I gotta rest for two days after that in order to play again without neck pain, headache and stiff muscles of my whole back. Should I gradually stop practicing my instrument? Desperate..
Avatar n tn I am not a physician, but your symptoms do not sound like diabetic nerve damage to me. For one thing, most people who complain of symptoms of neuropathy complain first of discomfort in the feet, for the feet are farther away from the heart and the blood vessels there are more likely to be damaged by high glucose since they are farther away from the main pump. Also, when diabetics complain to us about neuropathy, they do not complain of only having symptoms on one side.
Avatar f tn If belittling you makes her feel better than that is a sad sad thing for her. Because soon you will be out on your own living your own life and she will have no one to put down. Don't take her comments to heart. Instead focus on the good relationships in your life. Focus on your singing and your friends. You have made it for sixteen years, you can hang in there for a few more. And in the meantime don't be afraid to stick up for yourself.
Avatar f tn I was laying in bed trying to sleep when I started to hear a violin, playing an f# to a g (i have perfect pitch) back and forth with no apparent rhyme or reason. I normally can't sleep with light or sound, and this went on for a good two hours before I finally managed to fall asleep. I can only hear it from my right ear, whether it's against a pillow or not.
Avatar m tn I think you are talking about those cords which can occur if one or more lymph nodes were removed. These are scar tissue, or more specifically, fibroid lymphatic vessels. i have been asking a lot of questions and this is the best answer I have received. curiously, it appears that this never used to be a problem in the past much but is a fairly new development. The worst case my PT has ever seen was in a woman who only had one lymph node removed. I have it as well and these come and go.
Avatar f tn I play all kinds of music for him, but he really likes the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time sound track and Gorillaz. With Dethklok he tries to kick as hard as he can as if he's trying to moshpit inside, and oprea puts him to sleep. Its funny to feel his reactions.
Avatar m tn or it might not even be the right medication for you depending on if your side effects are tolerable. But you might feel a little better in a week or two.. but don't stop taking it..i took it for a couple years.. and then my insurance ran out so I stopped taking it and guess what? My anxiety was gone still.. So wait it out okay..And whats your dosage?
Avatar f tn I have hyper mobility in my fingers... so bad that I had to stop playing the violin in middle school, because it was causing issues. I would say I forgot my violin at home, because I didn't want to deal with my fingers acting up when playing... I am not sure if they are a specialist, they are in the same facility as my neurologist, I see him through Dr. Bath Green at the University of Miami. When I was referred, my referral letter says "EDS" on it.
Avatar n tn I was working on the Mendelssohn violin concerto in E minor on violin and jazz piano on the piano after taking classical training since I was four. The last thing that I worked on was Gershwin's concerto in F 3rd movement. I just feel stunned from this constant feeling. Almost like something was stuck to my brain behind my eyebrows. This feeling was especially constant on the right side of my head, behind my eyebrow and to the center when I took geodin. It's still there.
Avatar n tn I went to the ER and was admitted for testing for heart irregularities, but everything on that score was absolutely normal -- the doctor discharged me with a diagnosis of playing too much violin (said the upper chest and jaw and head sensations were from practicing too much -- why this hadn't ever happened during the past ten years that I have played the violin never occurred to the doctor) and put me on naproxen!!!! I learned about brain zaps after googling lexapro withdrawal!!!
Avatar f tn Thanks for the boost! I found myself in the livingroom after my last post dancing with my daughter and singing. We are a musical family. My hubby plays guitar and sings at small venues, my 4 y.o. loves her guitar, my 15 y.o. plays drums, I play violin and sing, and my soon to be 19 y.o. plays guitar too. After typing that out, "By George", I'm gonna break out my violin! Havens touched it in nearly 2 yrs!!!

1542957 tn?1305078438 I told him I was homeschooled, how my violin career ended early due to my parents divorce..how I have been calling off 4 days a month from work. Also that I can have days where I do alot of things and then other days I sleep alot. He said he was glad he had the pleasure of talking with me and that he was curious to know more and that I could feel free to dump on him anytime, and that I could cry if I wanted that it was "ok".
Avatar f tn Aw I hope you do get to see him good luck
4268628 tn?1375041176 Violin here.. I go thru the same thing.. thank god I don't do concerts or have to perform. Just relax and listen to the music. It will come naturally. Don't think too hard on it or you will mess up. Happens to me a lot. It helps if I close my eyes. But then what I play the notes are already in my head. Good luck! Pick the horn up and play.
Avatar f tn But I have always been really athletic and I play violin. Until last year. Biking too much hurt my knees, and my body just collapsed. Since then I have had debilitating knee pain, wrist problems, TMJ...pretty much all my joints are messed up. No Drs know whats wrong with me. My blood tests have all turned out negative, for Lyme's, rhumatoid arthritis, etc. X-rays of my wrists and knees are perfectly normal. Over the last year the pain has been ongoing, often so I can barely walk.
Avatar f tn m also quitting smoking.) He said that one of the side effects could be suicidal thoughts. I have never had these before in my life. I am scared to death that this medication is going to make me think about things like that. Does this happen to a lot of people? And, does it happen with people who don't usually have these types of thoughts?
Avatar f tn exactly one year ago next week, jan. 17, i hit my head while working on a violin repair in my violin shop. a day later i became disoriented, and later that day was admitted to the i.c.u. at a major medical center where i was in a coma with a brain bleed for six weeks. a month more in a step down unit and six weeks in inpatient rehab. when i first got to rehab i could not make change of one dollar from a cup fill of coins.
Avatar f tn They both kicks me when I play my violin.
19606750 tn?1480880764 Main motivation to fix is to make it easier for typing, and playing musical instruments (piano/guitar/violin) where I find it hampers progress in terms of agility/precision (I'm right handed, so use left hand for frets). Wondered if anyone could recommend a good way of going about this in the UK (whether NHS or private, where and how) and how long to expect heeling period to be.
Avatar f tn what side effects can i expect after 48 weeks of treatment for geno type 1,and for how long
