Hi, I did a 24 hours urine collection, but didn't realise I should have kept the bottle in the fridge. The weather was quite warm that day, about 25 C. Could this have caused my test results to be inaccurate? Should I repeat the test?

I did not see if the blood collection tube was new or reused.I only saw that there is no obvious blood in the blood collection tube for me. But i also saw a blood collection tube with blood of the previous patient, but the nurse mixed it with the unused blood collection tube.I am so be afraid that if the nurse used the reused blood collection tube that with blood in it, I am in a risk.

The jug is huge that they give you but mine isnt even half full and im done with the collection at 1130am which is only a couple hours away. Have any of you had to do a 24 hour urine collection test to check for high blood pressure ? My ob wants the test to make sure I don't end up.with pre eclampsia. The thing I don't understand is I'm only 15 weeks and I didn't have this test with my first son. Also how can they tell from urine?

Hi, I too had real problems getting my boys to use an alternate litter for collection, than after some reading found an answer that works! Cats cannot stop peeing midstream, and that works to our advantage.....get an old soup ladle an keep it handy for when you notice kitty heading to relieve himself....quickly approach the litter box gently raise him up by the tail (just a few inches) and slip the ladle between his back legs.
