Avatar n tn Prescription omeprazole comes as a delayed-release capsule, and packets of delayed-release (long-acting) granules for suspension (to be mixed with liquid) to take by mouth. Nonprescription (over-the-counter) omeprazole comes as a delayed-release capsule or tablet to take by mouth. The delayed-release capsules and the granules should be taken at least 1 hour before a meal. They are usually taken once a day before a meal but may be taken twice a day when used with other medications to eliminate H.

Avatar n tn My suggestion would be, if he says he can ... er... release... any time he wants as he claims, tell him to get on with it after 30 minutes or so because you're getting tired! :P Four hours.. good lord woman. That would kill me. If this truely seems to be a problem with him, definitely have him see a doctor about it. He could have a prostate problem which is very dangerous.
Avatar f tn I agree, with the bypass surgery, you will have trouble absorbing many things and the extended release medication is more than likely, not going to work. If you can't take the fentnyl patch, (I don't know anything about the morphine patch) maybe check into Oxycodone, they do make it in liquid form that may be a good alternative for you. Good luck to you.
1464587 tn?1307491605 I have not heard of a delayed allergic reaction like that. Usually, a reaction will appear around 45 minutes to maybe a few hours, but, as everyone's body is different, I guess it is possible.

Avatar f tn Hello, I can understand your anxiety related to delayed menstrual cycle. Pregnancy is the most common cause of absence of menstruation (amenorrhea). It is most likely if intercourse occurs anywhere from 3 days before ovulation (release of egg from the ovary) until 2-3 days after ovulation. If you did not have intercourse during that time of your menstrual cycle (12 to 16 days prior to your 1st day of expected period, its unlikely that you are pregnant.

Should I cut down to one a day for a week or so then stop? I'm afrain of withdrawal even though it's a low dose. If I get side effects what should I do. I don't want to start taking more morphine again.
Avatar n tn In general, uncoated tablets are absorbed extensively in the proximal ( beginning )portion of the GI tract; therefore, delayed-release tablets are used to achieve a local effect in the colon. Following oral administration, 20—30% of a dose is absorbed, with peak plasma concentrations achieved in 3—12 hours. It is specially formulated to release the medicine after it has passed through your stomach into your intestines. If you are finding only the shell that is very common.
Avatar n tn The other option is surgical release of penis. My sincere advice would be to consult a urologist and discuss this with him. Hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar m tn Don't know what you're working on. Time release is slow release. When I managed health food stores the saying about time release was, expensive urine or bowel movements, since the body evacuates before the stuff comes out of the capsule.

Avatar f tn Hello, There are several reasons why a woman have delayed menstruation and this could be due to unhealthy diet, stress (emotional or physical), sudden weight gain or loss, caffeine, alcohol, and smoking. Gynecological conditions like polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and uterine cysts or polyps, can also bring about alteration in menstrual cycle. However, pregnancy is still the most common cause of delayed or missed period.
Avatar f tn m taking progesterone capsules , HCG injections every week and aspirin delayed release tablets . What r they supposed to do and how does it help my baby? Anybody know something about it?
Avatar n tn It can make it extremely dangerous for you to deliver your baby. They should have told you to go on iron. I'm anemic as well when pregnant and have been on iron for several months now. Also, take it with vitamin C to help it absorb. Use a humidifier as well in your room and it'll help. If you can't stomach regular iron, try slow fe. It's a delayed release version. It's the only one that I can take.
