Hi Ladies, some of you might already know this, but there is a documentary being run on New York PBS channels, so you ladies that can watch it and spread the word for others to watch, here is a cut and paste of the info and link for Libby's Hope where there is a 2 minute video on the preview. Wish it was being shown all over, looks like it's going to a fabulous 30 minute show, but does look like PBS might be spreading it over the next months to come.

This is a head's up to a couple of programs that may be of interest to you. First, Charlie Rose has been running a series on the brain, and over the weekend on PBS they've been running the episode that covers MS. It's airing again tomorrow, at least in my area where we get PBS from Spokane. Second, Jack Osbourne is scheduled to be on GMA tomorrow morning, I assume to speak about his recent diagnosis.

I first heard of it about a week ago and now everyone is telling me it is awesome. PBS English drama. Much more than tea and crumpets--- so am going to try to find season one to watch. Just curious if anyone has checked it out.

Not sure if the forum will allow this to stay. But I just saw a great special on PBS on adult ADD. Its about time!! Anyway, you might check out your PBS schedule for a program called "ADD and loving it". Also a website created, called "totallyadd.com". Its worth the time and all of those dang commercials. I think its the best info I have seen on the subject in a video format. Hope this helps someone.

I was bored last weekend and hit on a show on PBS called Call the Midwife. Very female oriented in terms of lots of 'birth stuff' but really well done and interesting. Loved it and HIGHY recommend it. Touching in many ways. Set in the 50's in England. Watch it!!

I watched the first half of "When I Walk" on PBS last night (taped the rest). It is a documnetary film maker's personal account of his life with PPMS. So Sar I like it. It's not full of science, but rather it looks at things like how can I go to a restaurant in my scooter? Will girls Like me? Everyday stuff. One area of interest is how he portrays his mother. I think he means to show her as a no nonsense, you know what your issues are so deal with them type.

Sho sounds good to me! I have seen time and again a special that PBS has aired about that very thing. It's immensely intriguing and when I watched the special, it made sense the way it was presented. totallyadd was actually a PBS special and consequently is a series of short videos. Quite entertaining and useful. Jeffs add mind really reflects him. Has much more adult interaction. Both are worth checking out.
