The mac n cheese felt like a brick in my stomach. I stopped taking my calcium pills and other vitamin supplements in case they were irritating an already irritated stomach. The funny thing is, I never had any symptoms - just exhaustion recently which led to the tests that diagnosed celiac. I have been treated for hypothyroidism for over 5 years and they always had me check my thyroid when tiredness occurred. I've probably had celiac for a long time and never knew it.

I thought that i was getting better after a couple of days, but soon was awakened with a stomach flu in the middle of the night, I'm not throwing up anymore, but still have diarrhea and a very consistent pain in my abdomen, which I'm pretty sure is gas. So I am 37 weeks and the past few days my little guy has been hitting all the wrong places and causing me a lot of nerve pain. Honestly, in my opinion, babies are so wrapped up in this new world, all the new things going in for them, that a little cold (virus) hardly slows them down. it could be your baby is behind because she doesn't feel well all the time, and THAT is holding her back. Maybe not, but in either case I would push for them to figure it out. Chalking it all down to a virus is a lazy, sorry excuse. My point is, YOU DO know your child more than anyone.
