well i found a rehab to go to I'm going on aug 25th but the weird thing is she said its tricky with insurances and detox and mine might not pay and she can't see if they will until I'm there and if they dont cover it it cost 9000$ so i will have to leave weird i think but whatever i just hope they will pay without any trouble cuz i need this real bad i am very excited to be going i can't wait to see what life is like being free and sober

I was in rehab for the first time in March. Was only there for 2 weeks because I found out I was pregnant about a week into treatment. They tested me when I got there but the results didn't come back until 7 days into treatment. I was already out of detox. So I chose to stay clean and not get back on anything. They wanted to put me back on methadone which is what they used to wean me off the oxy contin.

I cant sleep and was watching the VH1 show Celeb Rehab and I have to say I wish I could have detoxed in that center! Its so nice. Hell, I wish I could stay there right now. I like Dr. Drew too. People say that he is a fame--- but I dont know . he seems to really care about his patients. Either way that recovery center is so nice and beautiful.

Hi Friends, I haven't been nearly as in touch as I wish to have been while here in this rehab center. I came here because after detoxing for 4 months on my own (from Opana ER), I realized that I couldn't even figure out how much help I still needed. After being at this rehab center for a week, I don't have Opana in my system anymore. I am now on Suboxone (4mg two times a day). I have heard all the warnings about Suboxone, and plan to be off it within 1 1/2 weeks.

Has anyone on here been to or known anyone that has been to Haven House Rehab Center in Oxford, MS??? I will be going in a couple of days and just curious if anyone has an opinion on it. Also, to all the women.... I haven't had a period since jan 19. The only other times I have skipped, I was pregnant but I have taken 2 tests and they were both negative. Can withdrawals from lortab cause you to miss a cycle for 2 months? Has anyone else experienced this as a side effect of detox and relapse?

Watching Heidi Fleiss was really sad.. I saw her on celebrity rehab where she retreated to the desert with a bunch of parrots! It was so sad bc you could see how much pain she was in. Dennis Rodman was like watching a train about to fly off the tracks.. He kinda had the "im not an addict" mentality even while in rehab! I KNEW Kim Richards was on pills and stuff... After my husband was out of the inpatient rehab center he was sent to a HealthSouth Out Patient center. They were wonderful. They worked with my husband three days a week (speech, occupational and physical) and he has improved considerably. The outpatient therapy lasted about 2 months and now my husband is basically doing everything himself. Only thing I have to do is remind him to take his pills.

I desperately want to get off and am open to entering a rehab center, but currently have no insurance. Is there any facilites out there that I can go to without having insurance? I have tried to ween off and can deal with the dysenteria, ringing in my ears, flu-like symptoms, but I can not deal with my leggs wanting to run with me and that overwhelming anxious feeling. If you are willing to travel, I highly recommend Dr. Berger and Dr. Montieth of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center in Chapel Hill, NC. Dr. Berger did my reversal in January. i went along with my friend today who we found out injected drugs - we had to go to some kind of rehab center where i guess there are many other drug addicts, anyways while sitting there i dropped my pen - so started to try and find it under the chair, whilst doing so i felt a poke- looked at my hand and saw a tiny red dot! i didn't think much of it could have been a pin or something - but then i though what if in fact it was a needle attached to a syringe etc.

Rehab people are now very pessimistic regarding his recovery, but he had been making progress before. We are concerned that they let him get dehydrated in the Rehab center and this has also caused some kidney issues as of today. Has anyone had any experience with this type situation? Did clots resolve on their own? Should we look at moving my dad to another hospital that deals more with stroke complications? Should we be upset that he got dehydrated in rehab center?

Aside from the professional and peer support (group) at a rehab center, what else am I missing? Do they prescribe any medication to help through the wd? Anyone have a brief outline of what I could do to mimic an inpatient rehab?

She finally admitted that she was hooked and needed help. We got her into a rehab center to hopefully get off them, so we can save our marriage. It is just as hard on me with her not being here becasue she is my best friend and we had our routine of drinking coffee and talking about anything that we want, and it was so depressing to wake up and not see my best friend laying next to me. I was wondering what it is like in rehab.

When she is done with rehab, she can go to Narcotics Anon meetings, and see/do whatever else they recommend at the rehab center. Now, there are doctors that specialize in addiction and pain management, but it really seems like she needs to get into rehab...fast. Hopefully others with more experience will chime in. This is really hard for me to answer. Typically rehab lasts up to 4 to 6 weeks but that also depends on the progress. I am sure your husband also has his own opinion regarding this matter as well.

At 16, the responsibility is tremendous…You don’t know what kind of drugs he is using, who and what he is involved with, and if he is going to go through withdrawals. When we receive patients in their late teens, special attention is required. Due to the fact they are usually impulsive and not mature enough to understand the consequences. Maybe he can be in a treatment center with professionals that can handle any unexpected situations while his parents are out of town.

very expensive, call whatever tx center you are looking into and ask how much they charge for an at home intervention i believe mine was around 700 for the man to drive to my home, and the facility was 30,000 if you do not have the resources for this, you can call voc rehab and sent up and appointment or look into an involuntary committment i wish my parents did not spend all that money on me, i used the day i left rehab, that time

I walk on a walking track at a sportsplex. On Monday last week, I walked like normal but walked up a small hill and then down that hill later. I never felt anything give or pop. On Tuesday, I woke up with severe knee pain. It feels really unstable and hurts when I walk.

depending on where you live u can check yourself in to rehab just sign up. and they will put you on a waiting list, you dont need any money,at lest in CA. i went to tarzana treatment center. in LA. it was pretty good i went to there detox center for 8 days and they wanted me to go in to the rehab after which is connected to the detox its one big place, the county paid for it cus i have no insurance. im sure u can find a place like that by you, just give them a call.

I am going into treatment at 8pm tonight. I can't do this alone, I need help. I wanted to be like so many of you that made it, you make it sound very doable, but I'm afraid I'm not as strong, I need some help, its hard to focus on me here, too much to be done, everyone needs me here and I'm useless. So i took the step and sought help..i went in for an assesment at a rehab center and they concluded i need inpatient rehab..which I know aswell that i need. I was ready for my new start on life. But i am at my wits end waiting..it has been almost 2 weeks since i had the assesment and my counciler says she is still waiting for the state to approve my financial papers, meanwhile.. all by myself ive cut down from 15 to 20 pills aday, to just 8-10.
