There were times when I felt as if I couldn't continue anymore but just reading the encouraging words helped more than you all will ever know. Trinity4- No leaves turning yet here in Virginia but I can't wait to jump on my Harley and head down to the Blue Ridge mountains for a nice Fall ride.

If the center of the site scabs, the ridge of skin around it drains like a blister would, scabs and becomes a part of the center, then another ridge of skin surrounds it (it becomes a repeating cycle) then it is ringworm. The dr will have to give her medication to put on it and it is very contagious.

Then my doctor quit and my new doctor cut me off...I did rehab at Coatsville in PA at the VA center there..I stayed clean for about 6 weeks after leaving there...I was spending about $1500 monthly for these pills and just recently asked the VA to see a Pain Management Clinic and they declined because at the VA they just give you Methodone for pain..I am requesting an increase in my percentage due to all of these new problems I am experiencing...

The VA uses tmed for things like treating disability cases that are not close to a VA center. Does that make any sense? I went through PTSD therapy at the VA and never found a therapy named tmed that was used on me. If you find out more let me know.

I have 6 blues left, (did one in the morning and one to sleep last night) and im hoping the VA is going to give me Methadone, but the VA takes SOOOO Long to do ANYTHING! I DO have a buddy that can get me Methadone for $5 a pop so I am going that route for now....Last night was Pure HELL! Cold Sweats, Leg and body Jerks/Spasms...UGH....but Im going to do this...I HAVE too...Im running my business into the GROUND buying 10-15 Blues a day at $30 a pop!!!!! I can NOT keep going on like this....

After going home from the inpatient rehab center, is it necessary to follow up with visiting the the outpatient rehab center regularly or just continue at home the rehab exercise which be taught at rehab center?

My frontal skull shape is triangular and the metpoic ridge is evident. I spent my new years eve at AA and NA meetings and fellowshipping with other addicts and Alcoholics drinking tea and coke being you are in VA. you could go to the Smokey and Blue ridge mountains in NC good skiing this time of year ain't been much snow but they have made some if nothing else relax and enjoy the air there is a lot of places to stay some of my kin live there great trout fishing and mountain climbing there s a few bears but only black bears they wont brother ya.

The slight raised ridge surrounding the center isnt red or inflamed, it doesnt itch or hurt. The center almost looks like a pimple head when it is ready to be popped, however instead of being full looking like a pimple head it looks flat and sunken in slightly. It showed up over night, and ive never ever had anything like this before.

Thats up to you..but i imagine if you are going for detox...they will give you meds to make you more comfortable....... so no...don't take them Good luck...you'll be fine ...and that baby will be in good hands while you're gone...keep your eye on the prize......you are doing a great thing for all of you!!! Of course while I was up at the VA I got a call at home from the VA. It was the rehab clinic calling to have me come in for a fit for crutches and training in using them before the surgey. At this rate I should should just move in to the VA as I'm spending all of my time there. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to do the rehab clinic next Friday before the LP as it is scheduled for 10AM. And I sure won't be able to do it afterwards.

The whole top part of my glands are normal but now at the bottom of my glands (the thickest part) is a blackish blue colour. Ive never seen it before and I am pretty surprised. Is this anything to worry about?

I never discourage people from going to a treatment place if they can. My dad, one sister, aunt and I are all alcoholics. I went to several rehabs and would reccomend them all. we have empire blue cross/blue sheild insurance. he now needs to go to cardio rehab blue cross says they will pay for 36 visits. we set up an appointment only to have it canceled because healthline states he needs a stress test. wednesday he went for a nuclear stress test (3 hours) and became ill and we stopped the procedure. healthline will still not allow him to go to rehab until he gets a stress test. is this standard procedure. it is now 5/23 and no rehab.

I just recently noticed I had a hard protrusion inside my jaw just below my wisdom tooth and from there there is a kind of lower ridge that runs towards the front of my inner jaw to another protrusion near the center of my mouth. What can it be? It feels hard as bone. What kind of doctor should I go see?

well i found a rehab to go to I'm going on aug 25th but the weird thing is she said its tricky with insurances and detox and mine might not pay and she can't see if they will until I'm there and if they dont cover it it cost 9000$ so i will have to leave weird i think but whatever i just hope they will pay without any trouble cuz i need this real bad i am very excited to be going i can't wait to see what life is like being free and sober
