rebif ms

Can anyone comment on their experiense with rebif? I have used it for over 2 years and had my first relapse. I have searched rebif and seen positive results, but i thought it would be nice to hear from others using rebif. I'd like to think my ms was caught early because i never had a relapse until 2 and a half years after being diagnosed. i am still taking rebif. All comments on rebif welcome..

I've been on Rebif for about 13 years. My insurance recently stopped covering it, but offered Aubagio as an alternative--sounded good to me! I'll be switching, but I'm worried about just stopping Rebif cold turkey (which my neurologist suggests). Has anyone had any experiences with stopping Rebif?

s only for RRMS, but my neuro says he puts all of his MS paatients on it, and he is an MS specialist, or so his credentials say...Any info would be helpful, Thanks!

Call MS Lifelines (the Rebif nurses) now. I think Rebif is contraindicated in pregnancy. If you don't have their number handy, find it on their website. Congratulations!! First baby?

I was misdiagnosed with MS in 2007. I took the Rebif injections until the first part of 2011. I have heard a lot of talk that Rebif could possibly cause cancer. Now I had an abnormal mammogram. There is no cancer in any of my family. Is it possible that Rebif could cause breast cancer?

i started rebif about a month and a half ago.since then depression has been rampant!!!night sweats have been rampant!!!im also on wellbutrin for depression.im told that it takes roughly three months for rebif side affects to subside>can anyone share there experience with rebif.ive been dx with relapsing ms recently,august fifth to be exact and my life is upside down!!!!!!im talking on the virge of mental breakdown.any input is welcome...

My boyfriend has ms and has been using rebif for 6 years now. The doctor says that he needn't take it anymore because he has improved. I am very afraid that he wont be ok if he quit rebif.

Well, I did end up going to this seminar, which was definitely slanted to put Rebif in a good light, but was reasonably upfront about that and at least made some effort to supply info about all the DMDs (if only because the legal people made them do it). First there were some PowerPoint slides narrated by Dr. David Mattson, the MS neuro at IU. The slides were apparently supplied by the Rebif people, but I don't know how much of the narration was.

Hi all, my daughter was diagnosed with MS at the age of 14 and she is now 17 and has started with Rebif about 9 months ago. The is on rebif 44 and has no real side effects from the injection any more. But she had to have her gallbladder removed 2 months ago. She has also picked up 15 kilos since she started on rebif even though she is eating healthy and is doing swimming and spinning...no matter what she does she cant drop the weight. Is there anyone else who is having this problem?

ve noticed that depression is also worse on Rebif-but when I told my MS Specialist in February that I was depressed-she said to me, smiling, "And your problems are bigger than everyone elses?" So, I won't discuss depression with her again.

Hello. Does anyone take Rebif for MS? Is it helping? How long before any improvement? Does anyone think that it's just a false hope with nasty side effects? Thanks.

m sure there are many medications for MS for different things but I am wondering if MS medication is to eleviate symptoms or to slow down progression?

My neuro ran test and I was dx with Ms July 2010. I am on rebif and doing well except for knee buckling. I was really ill at first after neuro put me on this med rebif, I am better now.

A few months later my Dr told me about Rebif which was new to the market at that time. Rebif is a 3 times a week shot and the shot goes into the fatty tisue just under the skin. The flu symptoms were worse at first but left almost completely after a few months. Last year I tried to return to work. I missed quite a few shots and the flu symptoms came back including this time extreme eye pain.

Hi all. I have been on REBIF for a year now. I am due for a follow up MRI at the end of this month, and will see my neuro in Feb. I have been very tired and feeling very emotional - off and on - for this past year. But so much has happened - my dx, having to leave my job due to symptoms - not being able to exercise like I used to - (my running always helped me keep all things in perspective!) But I'm wondering if some of my feelings of depression could be caused by the Rebif.
