I also have mental health issues. Its not helping reading zantac can cause all of these cancers colon, kidney, bladder, lung, liver etc etc etc.... So anyone who took this medication gets tested for all these cancers how? This is ridiculous!

ve been paranoid ever since I learned that Ranitidine had been recalled due to a link to cancer. Is a 2 month dose of Ranitidine something to worry about?

Now i am doubtful that i am pregnant as i removed my copper T recently. I am under treatment for stomach inflammation. i am taking ranitidine 150 twice daily for the last 2 months and buscopan when i have stomach pain. i take antacid when have heartburn if i happen to eat anything which is not suitable for my present stomach condition. pls tell me, is it safe to take those medicines if i am pregnant? or do i have to abort if i am pregnant? i am very much worried....thanks in advance.

Also if you consume alcohol,munch some light snacks along with it and as far as possible try abstaining from alcohol or taking very less amounts of it.You can also take some OTC antacid like Mylanta, zantac(ranitidine)or prilosec(omeprazole).These will help.Also keep your fluid electrolyte balance optimum by drinking lots of fluids. If the symptoms persist then pls get it evaluated from a physician and get gall bladder/liver disease ruled out. Hope it helps.

Our local doctors said it just stomach problem and they gave B Complex,Liver Extract With Vitamin B12 Injection and Betnesol injection for two days.Today it was given an anti biotic and ranitidine as it was thought to have gastric problem. Please help me soon, he is very sick..

A few years ago my doctor put me on 75 mg Ranitidine to take twice a day before meals. A couple years ago he also put me on 20 mg Omeprazole to take once a day for 14 days, after which he said I could start taking the Ranitidine again if i still had the heartburn.

Over a year ago i was given ranitidine for the treatment of GERD. In order to treat Acid Reflux/GERD I have been taking Ranitidine/Zantac per doctors advice. I started developing various side effects several months ago. To verify the side effects were caused by the ranitidine I would stop for a few weeks and use TUMS instead. I repeated this cycle several times. The symptoms would go away each time I was off the ranitidine for a week or so.

I wonder if you might have some insight into a liver issue that I have been experiencing. I'm 26 years old now. In April 2006 I contracted Hepatitis A, had about 2 weeks where I was really sick then gradually got better and regained my stamina. My LFTs were very slow to return to normal. At the end of that summer I started getting repeated sinus infections, then started intermittantly wheezing. I moved across the country to go to graduate school in August 2006.

I have had abdominal ultrasound which included, kidneys, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, spleen, bile duct, and aorta. Also had abdoman ultrasound done and a vaginal ultrasound done. All was normal. They ran alot of bloodwork and said it was all normal. They also checked for h-pylori and it was normal. I have been having weird pains in upper right side under breast and it go around directly on my side, and in lower back. Weird.
