t take that and i took the ranitidine, within 30 min of taking i had more and more problems breathing, i felt like i was suffocating. i rang my doctor as i didn't know what to do and she put me through as she could tell i couldn't breathe even through she couldn't understand me. By the time the ambulance arrived my lips and neck has swollen, i could barely say a word let alone a sentence. i had a rash around my neck and my oxygen saturation was low.

Deepending on how bad your GERD is, the combination is quite common. I take ranitidine and Dexilant (also a PPI). For break through reflux, I take Mylanta or Rolaids. I have also been diagnosed with bile reflux and take a fourth medication for that. It is best to manage GERD with diet and life style changes if you can. I also take a digestive enzyme and probiotic. I took a double dose of the probiotic for about 2 - 3 months a while back after taking a lot of antibiotics.

Have a sensitive stomach and get burning pains especially if food has chilly or is strong in acid. Ranitidine has helped but from time to time suffer missing hearbeats. Having given up the drug for a while things improved but stomach started to suffer again and thus the reason to re-start the drug.

For over a month now I have been suffering from stomach pain, nausea, a bit of gas and bloating, and food tasting really weird/gross. I've been taking prescribed antacids for it and lots of generic tums. A similar thing like this occurred a month ago, however, my stomach only hurt when I touched the very lower portion of it then. Today my stomach hurts when I touch it mostly in the middle and when I don't touch it. The pain feels like the inside of my stomach is just raw.

I went to see an ENT last month and after examination he said there is irritation in my throat and voice box areas (consistent with LPR). Let me know what you think.

8 atarax 25 mg each, 1 doxepin 25mg at bedtime and two zyrtec 10mg each, one ranitidine 300 mg) they have not been able to do much. And none of the meds made me tired. My internist was concerened about all the meds I was taking so have gotten off of everything except 5 atarax/day. Tried to stop the atarax completely but w/in 2 days hives came back w/ a vengence. Have ordered Rupatadine/Rupafin from Canada. Trying to find info about possible side effects, esp hair loss (yes I am vain).

joint pain and moody. Started Armour 11-06 - have some relief. Developed acid and bloating for a year. Very uncomfortable. Is there a solid connection to hypothyroid and acid/GI disorders? I can not find anything to put them together - but never had this been an issue for me prior. Also drug interactions - Acid meds and thyroid - also Xanax. Is there a balance? Could mixing these up be the culpruit? I am trying to find a balance. Diet, exercise and stress relief. Any advice?

ve been paranoid ever since I learned that Ranitidine had been recalled due to a link to cancer. Is a 2 month dose of Ranitidine something to worry about?

I was also taking Zyrtec for sinus and allegry and was still getting sick.. it is off and on. I was told by GF that seems to be when i eat sweet things later at night.

m going to see an allergy specialist to find out the severity of my allergies and get a needle test done. I am on Protonix and take ranitidine to try and relieve some of these problems but they usually give me little to no relief. I also take antacids basically on a daily basis. I've been taking Acidophilus also but I'm about to stop it because it doesn't seem to help either. My G.P. started me on a high fiber diet.

you could try looking up those drugs online and see what they say about hurting baby. i can tell you that buscopan is a muscle relaxant and that that shouldn't hurt your future baby. i have been on ranitidine, still have some i think. but i had heart palpitations with it. but i am really glad to hear its working for you. because of my experience with it i would definitely suggest talking to your doctor about it. but my main suggestion would be sort things out with your body first.

Been in panic attack mode since talking to him today and only have 4 xanax left.This test was done 2 weeks ago and he just called me today and said he will not give me any more xanax because I tested negative for them. I swear I am not taking anything but my prescribed medicines and he knows of all over the counter ones.

Now, two years later my gastritis symptoms have come back (heartburn and nausea), and I read somewhere that I can take omeprazole AND ranitidine on the same day (but not the same time) so I've been taking the 20 mg Omeprazole in the am before breakfast and a 75mg ranitidine in the pm before dinner, which has worked quiet well.

Avoid heavy meals and take frequent small ones. Avoid too much of caffeine, tea, fried food and drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic fuzzy ones. Different areas of body. Including begin ears and nerve to eyes. Been in car wrecks,domestic violence. I do have allergies year round. Can't afford get gallery tests or meds.
