provigil and wellbutrin together

After my liver transplant for hepatitis c my transplant team prescribed Wellbutrin for me and for most of the patients I knew. I doubt very much that Wellbutrin would have been prescribed if it was injurious to the liver. I think it's OK.

After taking Wellbutrin 150mg 2x daily and my Zoloft 100mg together fro the first time I woke disoriented and dizzy Just was wondering if I should of started the wellbutrin one a day to get used to it.

I have no experience with it myself, but I read the "Wellbutrin and Hepsera" under related discussions about one who had used it.

I am on that combination and it works great. I was taking Lexapro 20 mg with Wellbutrin and was fine. How long have you been on Lexapro? My doc started me out slow with a week of 5 mg then 10 mg and so on. I know jumping into 20 mg for me was exhausting. Best of luck.

m worried that the combination of Cymbalta and Wellbutrin can cause this. Is the combintation of Cymbalta and Wellbutrin safe? Thanks very much!

Anybody know if there is any problems taking tramadol and provigil together?

My muscles tremor when over exherted and I need Provigil to get out of the bed and drive and function without fear of falling asleep ...I've been taking provigil with great success however, I am having a hard time with insurance filling it with new Medicare ins. restrictions and pre auth's required etc.

I would say yes, because wellbutrin is an antidepressant and klonopin is a benzo and they don't have any neg effect together usually and are often perscribed together, to be sure I would call an all night pharmacist or your local pharmacist, they can give you more professional advice, I do it all the time. JUst ask them if you can tak ethe two together and they can tell you if you need to look for or worry with side effects, but I would think it is fine.

Try to get rid of the Seroquel and trazadone when you can and go for the Cymbalta and Provigil. Think about adding a good vitamin B complex to help with energy and you metabolism and what it can do for your brain and mood.

I do use OTC sleep aids like you said and i think for now i will continue, i have some ambien, but i will keep it to use when i need it, since i had to beg for it. I dont want to use it all the time anyway. And i use 200 mg of provigil now, and i sometimes i could use a bit more. But i try to stick with 200 mg.

Most antidepressants prescribed these days are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors but there are some atypicals like Wellbutrin that could be appropriate for fatigue. I have experience with both Wellbutrin and Provigil but our neurologies in response to these drugs vary among individual......... For energy per se you would need either caffeine, Wellbutrin, amphetamine, or Provigal: these are all indicated for such and other suggestions are anecdotal.

I take creatine, caffeine, and smaller amounts of other supplements on top of 400 mg/day of wellbutrin and no problems. Sports supplements and wellbutrin (a psychoactive drug) work on completely different tissues in the body and thus do not work in unison with each other. Wellbutrin gives you mental energy, supplements actually stimulate a more physiological response.

Celexa (depression), Ultram (pain) Vicodin (bad pain), Lunesta (to stay asleep), and now Provigil (to stay awake in the day). I have say, these all are helping, but maybe about 50%. The pain never goes away, only flucuates to bad or worse. The Lunesta is great. I tried Ambien & Sonata, but couldn't handle the side effects. Lunesta keeps me asleep but doesn't make me feel hung-over in the morning.

re taking wellbutrin and Zoloft together and think the wellbutrin is working but not the Zoloft. See my response to your other post for my thoughts about this, but you do need to clear up the confusion as to what you're doing now so people here can help better.

My doctor has been talking to me about Remeron. She seems to think that that would help me a lot and she says that the sexual side effects aren't bad like Paxill. I take Wellbutrin and she wants to add the Remeron with it. Does anyone have any input? Does it kill your sex drive? Does it cause weight gain? Is it sedating? Most importantly, how bad are the withdrawals if you stop taking the medication?

I kept telling them that nothing or no one was bothering me so just gave up and stayed on the Zoloft and Wellbutrin and dealt with all of my other issues such as terrible fatigue. My daughter was using a psychiatrist that she swore by and said for me to give him a try. I told him that I had no issues with anyone or anything and he said that I had clinical depression from an unbalance in my brain.

I am currently trying to taper off of Lortab after a failed C/T attempt and am having sleep issues. I was wondering if any of you know if you can take Wellbutrin and Melatonin at the same time. I took Wellbutrin for a Post-Traumatic Stress situation last year and then stopped once my depression was mostly over and then I started using it again about two weeks before I decided to quit the pills in the hopes that it would help the depression that i knew would happen.

I do think if you keep going with Wellbutrin and Cymbalta you will be doing just fine. Wellbutrin might be unpleasant when taking the first doses, just like any other antidepressant but the side-effects will eventually go away as your body adapts to the medicines. If after 1 month taking both drugs you don't see any improvements then you might consider trying something else but seriously Cymbalta+Wellbutrin is really supposed to give you energy and make you function more normally.

I've been on 150mg of Effexor XR and 300mg of Wellbutrin for maybe 9 months now. I suddenly started feeling sick after taking the two together. 2-3 hours after taking the two I get the "zapping" feeling some people describe, my heart rate increases (as high as 120), sometimes I feel nauseous, I have trouble focusing, and I generally feel sick. This has been getting worse over the last 2 months. I went to the ER the other day because I felt so bad and my heart rate was scaring me.

I have tried provigil on and off for years. No side effects. It did keep me from that feeling I couldnt wake up for any reason. No insurance complained but now suddenly, they said because I made a late insurance payment, Im being canceled. I believe they dont want to pay for my provigil. I had sent the payment to Aetna Tri Net Cobra and did it online instead of mailing it, had I mailed it, it would have been postmarked. I got very little mail for days after the Memorial Holiday.

Has anyone ever responded to the original questions posted in 2010? I am curious. I have been taking 300 mg Wellbutrin and 200 mg Topamax since May 2016 and have lost approx 30lbs. I wasn't aware of the side affects and my doctor said as long as I feel fine there is no reason to run tests. I just want to make sure others are having this same significant weight loss.

From what you have said I would wonder about the possible benefit of more activating treatments such as bupropion (Wellbutrin), light (especially where you live - check out BlueMax Lighting - their 70W lights have full spectrum and are bright enough to treat seasonal depression), modafanil (Provigil) or thyroid.
