Your Dr. can give you a drug test at any time. I get one at every visit, it show's the medication and the amounts in my system. If your records show that you have failed drug tests due to anything that is not prescribed by your Dr. will make it harder to find a PM Dr. or any Dr. who will give pain medication. They are being pressured more and more by the DEA.

i think you're safe. No one checks THC levels on newborns either..baby will be fine I'm sure.

I have smoked marijuana for the last couple of years every day. I smoked very potent marijuana and I'm a bit overweight. I have been in shape on and off in my life through long distance running. I have recently went to a treatment facility as required by the courts. I have not smoked since July 13, 2009 and have began working out very regularly, I way 196 lbs and am 5'4" I have very high body fat and I'm not a brawny guy.

I have muscle spazms along with the in my arms and legs. Chest pain occasionally. Ive had acid reflux and IBS since i was 16. Taking nexium, and whatever else they can prescribe to help, but mine is cronic so theres not much they can do. I have only had one seizure so far.. But im wondering what i can tell myself with all these symtoms im having. Iv heard people talk about Raynauds syndrom? But i dont seam to have cold feet or hands alot of the time, occasionally. And no discoloration.

m not getting relief with chiropractic care or anything else for that matter, I started thinking about medication and side effects. The protonix s the only thing that could possibly be the culprit. I went off of it two days ago, took omaprazole instead, and have had a 50% reduction in the pain. Has anyone else experienced this. I am reluctant to mention it to the doctor because I'm afraid he will dismiss it. I want to be sure before I talk to him.

RNRita - I'm worried about going off because it really did help. I used to use Gaviscon but it stopped working. I have been on Protonix for quite a while so maybe I will stop and see if I can have luck with Gaviscon and Tums again. Did the pvc's stop right away as soon as you went off it? WIsconsin2007 - I don't see any literature with palps as a side effect either and my cardio gave them to me and told me it wouldn't bother my heart. But I have to wonder....

I go to a pain clinic for my chronic pain for the past 10 years. NOW they want to test you for THC and if it's not decreased in 1 week I could be put on a "watch" which means coming in every 2 weeks. I've stopped smoking except for tiny amounts and not every day. Now I have to totally quit. Is there any way I can get it (THC) down by not smoking for a week? My test is on 2/2/17 and I'm scared it will still show up.

I take Protonix to control my gerd. An allergist recommended this and it does seem to make a difference. Does anyone else take these types of meds to control their gerd and, ultimately, help with asthma? I cannot get Protonix any longer through my health insurance and was wondering if someone took something else as effective. Prilosec and Nexium do not have as good as effect as Protonix for me. t help but had to try that first before insurance would pay for Protonix. I have been on Protonix for over a year now and am having problems again. Right after I eat, I get bloated; I liken it to when you are full and you bend over to tie your shoe and you feel so much pressure on your stomach and diaphragm area and your head feels full of pressure. That's what I feel like after I eat and I am NOT bending over.

i took my meds as was presrcibed. how embarrassing. i was taking CBD oil because there was supossed to be no THC and was supposed to help for pain. THC showed up in my preliminary drug test and i had to convince him by having his nurse getting on the interent and looking it up. The THC level was low, but how can it be sold with ANY level of THC in it.....so tired of this. what can i di for DDD....????

What do they do if you test positive for thc? And are they testing you for smoking? They cant really say anything about smoking it isn't illegal.

You should do a niason flush and drink cranberry juice and drink lots and lots of water. If thc is showing up in your urine it will show up in your blood. Urine tests are less sensitive than blood tests. Thc is stored in your fat cells. If you have been smoking for years there is a lot of buildup so my advice is to go on a complete system flush and give it about a month.

I have also had problems with slightly elevated liver enzymes for over a year. My levels seem to fluctuate between normal and elevated.

Hi folks...I was researching taking CBD oil (non THC) for sleep and anxiety and was wondering if anyone knew if there was a negative impact on retina. I am 43, eat well, do not smoke or drink or use drugs. I had a retinal detachment 18 months ago...just wanted to eliminate CBD oil if there was any known negative correlation with its use and the retina. Hope this makes sense.

In your previous post that you wrote at the end of December you stated that you smoked Marijuana for 2 weeks and then tested positive for THC. This contradicts what you have written today and might change the mode by which this is handled, especially if your dr had reason to believe you may have smoked. And what you read is correct. THC will NOT be in your system at detectable levels from typical 2nd-hand smoke exposure.

Hi from what I understand protonix is an rx while prilosec is over the counter meds...... so I do believe that the protonix is stronger.I am not a dr, just going on what I do know, I know both r PPI and work much the same way.....Ur dr should be able to say y he changed ur meds...everyone is different and react to the meds differently....maybe bcuz the prilosec dtopped working instead of changing meds he should check to see y u r making so much acid. I have noticed mine cycles....

I have been posting in the addiction forum because I was taking pain med for knees and began taking too much, then decided to quit. It's been a few months since I stopped the meds and I've experienced a lot of neck and shoulder pain. I've been seeking treatment with massage and chiropractic care. The pain is not subsiding at all. The chiropractor said that I don't have an injury, but fascia...itis in neck and shoulder.

As far as the dronabinol goes, since it is a prescription, and the THC factors may show, carry a note from your doctor explaining you are undergoing chemotherapy (or just interferon treatment which IS a form of chemotherapy) and it is medically necessary. If you think it may be a problem, contact your supervisor, explain you are undergoing chemo for your liver (sounds horrible, doesn't it?) and tell them your Dr is suggesting this medication but you are concerned about testing positive.

I have been doing that and my levels stay around 400 or so. I am on a PPI ( protonix) and that causes you to absorb less B12 so I really need the shots. Are you on a PPI such as nexium, protonix etc?

I have no history of bad anxiety and racing heart like this.. So I decided to stop taking the Protonix...the last time i took it was thursday and i still feel like im in hell.... You would think I am detoxing from some other hard core drug and I havent taken anything else.. I have been to the hospital twice with two ekgs done normal and a lot of blood work normal I have bad shoulder pains leg pains arms ache and neck hurts when I drink or eat anything my chest hurts and my back hurts can stress and gets cause this I get headaches daily and the pain in shoulders and arms daily
