I have muscle spazms along with the in my arms and legs. Chest pain occasionally. Ive had acid reflux and IBS since i was 16. Taking nexium, and whatever else they can prescribe to help, but mine is cronic so theres not much they can do. I have only had one seizure so far.. But im wondering what i can tell myself with all these symtoms im having. Iv heard people talk about Raynauds syndrom? But i dont seam to have cold feet or hands alot of the time, occasionally. And no discoloration.
With the leg problem that you feel like stretching them, it sounds like it could be "restless leg syndrome". This is usually treated with an antidepressant called amitriptyline.
With your arms aching too, you may have some form of arthritis.
Unfortunately as we get older, us unfortunate ones, start to feel aches and pains.
Ask your doctor about the restless leg syndrome. Pain relief and anti-inflammatories may help.
only takes my TSH levels, she said that is all she goes by so my TSH is normal at 1.44 and has went higher and lower but basically stays in that range. I have no idea why she is so reluctant on having me try T3. I will try to get in before Christmas again and have another talk with her. She doesn't think my symptoms have anything to do with my meds or thyroid removal. But I think it has everthing to do with it! Its very frustrating!!
My primary physician said I probably overdid the stretches and triggered a muscle rebound (contracting) problem. An MRI of my back was taken, showing osteoarthritis (which I've known about for years). In fact I've suffered from sciatica before but that was years ago and I've been mostly pain-free since then. Was sent for physical theraphy, which seemed to resolve the issue after 4-6 weeks of treatment.
A few days ago, I began experiencing muscle aches everywhere that I cannot explain through changes in exercise or activity. Is this my body adjusting to the medication and needing more Synthroid? Blood test next Friday for synthroid increase.
Prior to beginning my medication, the only hypo symptoms I had included tiredness and horrific periods.

I am wondering if long term protonix use has been linked to joint and muscle pain as well as hearing loss. I have been taking proton pump inhibitors for 18 years and have just begun hearing about bone loss and other issues. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia after finally seeing a doctor about the pain that I have endured for over 10 years.
I started this the same time as my 2x daily protonix. After and during weight lifting it feels as though I cant breathe and have to sit down, then I belch for like 5 minutes. At the end it takes 2-3 hours before my stomach feels 'normal' again and I can actualy eat anything. I also have a hard time breathing due to this feeling of 'gas' in my upper stomach.
I have had two endoscopies done with them saying my z-line (sphincter muscle?) was abnormal.
s not only uncomfortable but embarrassing to be bloated and gassy almost every day. How long should I be on the Protonix, and should I be taking anything else to help ease the constipation? Before starting the Protonix I was fairly regular and my diet hasn't changed much, if at all, so I can't imagine any other reason for this. My doctor never indicated a length of time for taking it, he only listed refills on the bottle.
I take Protonix to control my gerd. An allergist recommended this and it does seem to make a difference. Does anyone else take these types of meds to control their gerd and, ultimately, help with asthma? I cannot get Protonix any longer through my health insurance and was wondering if someone took something else as effective. Prilosec and Nexium do not have as good as effect as Protonix for me. Hi Everyone, I came down with a mild flu roughly 11 weeks ago and have suffered with muscle and ligament pain from cramps, tightness and aches ever since granted it has improved since it began so that I'm not in constant pain all day like I was but I have muscles that since this whole thing started have pulled tight and remained that way, I get quick sharp pains usually in my legs and arms ( like the muscle is about to cramp but doesnt ) cramps on and off that leave my muscles sore particul
After getting these aches in my left rib, and sometimes right, doc sent me for and endoscopy. Said I have very slight Barrett’s and some inflammation and put me on protonix. Also have small polyp on gallbladder that we will check again in 6 months.
He said the pain in rib (front and side) can be caused from this, and that it affects everyone differently. I don’t have much indigestion and have a great appetite, etc.
I have been posting in the addiction forum because I was taking pain med for knees and began taking too much, then decided to quit. It's been a few months since I stopped the meds and I've experienced a lot of neck and shoulder pain. I've been seeking treatment with massage and chiropractic care. The pain is not subsiding at all. The chiropractor said that I don't have an injury, but fascia...itis in neck and shoulder.
Im 35 +1 and my back and hips hurt soo bad...
