Anyone else have trace protein in their urine late in pregnancy? I'm 39+4. Just worried about developing gestational diabetes very late in pregnancy. Anyone ever here of this?

i have a protein level of 300 in my urine should i be worried and what should i do if this is bad? Plus what is a normal protein level in urine?

Hey, I had protein in my urine with my last pregnancy n had to do the 24 hr urine. Come to find out I had preeclampsia. This pregnancy they found a trace of protein n I had to do the 24 hr urine n blood work but I didn't have preeclampsia this pregnancy.

You may also need 24 hours urine test, random protein to creatinine ratio to check the kidney status and a serum and urine protein electrophoresis test to determine which proteins are being excreted and in what quantities. Sometimes, some proteins will appear in the urine if the levels of protein in blood become high, even when the kidney is functioning properly. I have had protein in my urine since I was in my early 20s. It's never been at a high enough level for the MDs to get overly concerned.
