I've had a rough couple of weeks, herxing like crazy with my mood going downward. I know I need to make some changes and have put an email into my Doc with no answer...The 3 new drugs I've started in the last 2 weeks are Mepron, Propranolol, and Methyl-Guard plus. I'm wondering which of these is causing the depression. If it's the mepron I'm off it for 2 weeks but I never want to take it again.

Hi, I've now wanted to talk about a major part of my anxiety that I feel has impacted my life and has made me become reliant on propranolol.
You see, ever since my anxiety got worse I have developed cardiophobia. I started to become obsessed with my heart and worried non stop about heart attacks and disease. So much that I took more propranolol tablets and became addicted to heart rate apps. Now I no longer use the apps but I feel like the propranolol are what's keeping me stable.
The Propranolol was prescribed for my heart and never for anything else. Now I am currently taking Propranolol in the morning along with Paxil, at night I take Propranolol again. I take the Klonopin is taken as needed twice a day.

I have been hospitalized in the ER three times in the past two weeks for bradycardia. All this suddenly started happening in the last two weeks. Now that she is on the propranolol, her PACs have become less frequent and the cardiologist has mentioned up titrating the propranolol. I also was on propranolol for a while with no side effects. I don't agree with banglamom in saying the best cure is to stop taking your medicine. Some medicines can have side effects at first that wear off after you've been on them for a month or so.

Anyway I got a BP test done at the chemist & read all I could & have decided to start taking them, I am on 20mg twice a day intending to work up to 40 mg twice a day.
A friend of mine took a propranolol overdose approx. 1 month ago. 3 weeks after had a physical and his enzymes were elevated alkaline phosphatase 201 ast- 52 alt- 115.
What does this mean? His MD gave him a B12 injection and a script for folate. He has not revealed to his MD that he had taken this overdose. He is going for a follow-up tomorrow and tell the doctor. He does not drink and has never taken drugs, untilt his event.
I started taking such medication since then, and recently I have got to know that the main compound, propranolol, present in these medicine pills, is also used to treat PTSD which is a cure for the said, by erasing memory of the patient. i am just concerned for the fact that the prolonged use of propranolol might cause any sort of memory loss to me. Kindly advise me in this regard.
