ve heard a urologist say not to be on propecia. I would remain off of it. I would go see a urologist who can interpret your blood work (and maybe send you for more blood work checking whatever he thinks is best). Then look for possible treatments to ED caused my propecia. A urologist may know (if one doesn't, a different one should). It might be taking something to get your levels back in balance or something like that. It's happened to a bunch of guys, it's a known issue.
I've been taking L'Arginine and L'Orthinine to enhance muscles growth after working out in the gym.
I'm also taking 1mg of Propecia due to a hair loss problem. Are there any side effects taking both at the same time? Is L'Arginine hindering the benefits of Propecia (like make me loose hair again)?

To my horror I came across this page and saw your posts. I stopped taking propecia more than a year ago and have not regained any of the sexual funtion i lost while taking the meds. My erections are LAME, my seaman volume is a joke (and it used to come out like a garden hose) and my orgasms dont even feel that great. I can go months and months now without masterbation and dont even feel horny. This NEVER used to happen to me.
I have been taking lysine for 15 years and it has always prevented me from getting mouth ulcers and fever blisters however in the last three to four months it is not working anymore does anyone have any idea why and also could my body have built up a tolerance to it and should I quit taking it for a while?
Within the last 4 months I have noticed that when ejaculating during sex, my ejaculation is not as strong and barely comes out. I had no problems before this period with a strong ejaculation. There also seems to be less volume of fluid.( I am a 40 year old male and had a vasectomy 2 years ago.) Is this a sign of a prostate problem?

I am 39 and for the past 2 weeks have had a disturbing issue. I still strongly feel the urge for sex and am still very interested in my wife, but it suddenly is taking quite some time to get an erection. When it finally happens it is a somewhat weak one and i have to rush for fear of it going away even though everything still feels great. I do not smoke-I quit 3 years ago- I don't use drugs and drink light to moderately. I take propecia and straterra and have for years.
Help. My wife accidentally took propecia (3 mgs over 2 days) thinking it was something else. We are planning on having kids soon. Can there be consequences to a future pregnancy from this mistake? How long will the propecia stay in her body?
s assistant pretty much ruled out telogen effluvium, told me it was androgentic alopecia, and wrote me a prescription for Propecia. I almost wish I had not went to this appointment as I now have to decide between what this PA concluded and what seems like common sense.
Does this seem like a correct diagnosis or should I get a second opinion?
My erections are not as hard as they used to be and I do not stay hard for long. I attribute my erection problems to the Propecia tablet that I take daily. As you know, Propecia is 1 mg. of finasteride. Propecia has been shown to cause side effects such as erectile problems in a small minority of users. About three months ago I started taking propecia because I thought my hair was falling out too young. I experienced several side effects from the drug including total loss of sex drive, difficulty maintaining erections, loss of spontaneous erections/morning erections. I stopped taking propecia within 3 weeks due to an inability to deal with these side effects. Things seemed to be slowly getting slightly better as the weeks and months progressed however now some new issues have been arising.
I have been having problems with erections for a year now and don't know what to do about it. I am 25 and have been having this problem since Feb 2016. I was in a serious relationship that ended in September of 2014, which really destroyed me and tried some dating for the next year which never worked out and I haven't really been dating in over a year. I have never had difficulty with erections, in fact quite the opposite.
I have been taking Propecia since 2.5 years at variable doses(0.25 first 6months, 0.5 mg for one year and 1 mg for 1 year till today), In october 2016 my derm put me on accutane 10 mg and minoxiline(100mg) for treating my mild acne, I had been drinking heavily for 5 days before starting my accutane course, 10 days into the course, I started to have Gyno(Unilateral, right breast with a movable tender lump), I dropped accutane and minoxiline and also propecia after 23 days.
10 165lbs and over the past year I noticed quite a few scary symptoms which im not sure as to what the cause is. One of the symptoms I have been experiencing is bed wetting which is something I have not done since I was a kid but within the past year have urinated three times in bed, I went into the doctor and they checked my urine sample but it came back well within the normal range.
