ve heard a urologist say not to be on propecia. I would remain off of it. I would go see a urologist who can interpret your blood work (and maybe send you for more blood work checking whatever he thinks is best). Then look for possible treatments to ED caused my propecia. A urologist may know (if one doesn't, a different one should). It might be taking something to get your levels back in balance or something like that. It's happened to a bunch of guys, it's a known issue.
I've been taking L'Arginine and L'Orthinine to enhance muscles growth after working out in the gym.
I'm also taking 1mg of Propecia due to a hair loss problem. Are there any side effects taking both at the same time? Is L'Arginine hindering the benefits of Propecia (like make me loose hair again)?

To my horror I came across this page and saw your posts. I stopped taking propecia more than a year ago and have not regained any of the sexual funtion i lost while taking the meds. My erections are LAME, my seaman volume is a joke (and it used to come out like a garden hose) and my orgasms dont even feel that great. I can go months and months now without masterbation and dont even feel horny. This NEVER used to happen to me.
Within the last 4 months I have noticed that when ejaculating during sex, my ejaculation is not as strong and barely comes out. I had no problems before this period with a strong ejaculation. There also seems to be less volume of fluid.( I am a 40 year old male and had a vasectomy 2 years ago.) Is this a sign of a prostate problem?

I am 39 and for the past 2 weeks have had a disturbing issue. s assistant pretty much ruled out telogen effluvium, told me it was androgentic alopecia, and wrote me a prescription for Propecia. I almost wish I had not went to this appointment as I now have to decide between what this PA concluded and what seems like common sense.

My erections are not as hard as they used to be and I do not stay hard for long. I attribute my erection problems to the Propecia tablet that I take daily. As you know, Propecia is 1 mg. of finasteride. Propecia has been shown to cause side effects such as erectile problems in a small minority of users. Unfortunately, I appear to be in that small minority. Once my erection problems surfaced, I began looking for a solution.
About three months ago I started taking propecia because I thought my hair was falling out too young. I experienced several side effects from the drug including total loss of sex drive, difficulty maintaining erections, loss of spontaneous erections/morning erections. 10 165lbs and over the past year I noticed quite a few scary symptoms which im not sure as to what the cause is. One of the symptoms I have been experiencing is bed wetting which is something I have not done since I was a kid but within the past year have urinated three times in bed, I went into the doctor and they checked my urine sample but it came back well within the normal range.
My guess is that for someone without any serious health complications, many doctors would say okay to the regular dose of medications which are not in the averse reaction list to tx drugs and not recorded as interference to the tx functions.
To be on the 100% safe side, the ideal is not to take any elective/optional medications or medical procedures during tx. Anything less with an okay from the doctor is a personal choice. My 0.02..
However, news is floting around saying that the sexual side effect comes from propecia is sometime not reversible. Asyesterday,he stopped his medicine. I am really worried if it has done any damage to him or not. He has never been in any relationship, so he really can not tell if it has done anything to him. please read more on any medicine you take.
As info, more than likely your is going to fall out with or without Propecia. I don't know how Propecia will effect the treatment drugs but some hair loss will be unavoidable.
My mindset during treatment was the less drugs I had to take, the better off I was because the treatment drugs are very powerful and I didn't want my body to have to metabolize any more drugs than absolutely necessary.
I am 25 year old guy.. I have hair loss. so the doctor prescribed me for propecia which i consumed last 50 days. for the first 30 days, i consumed one tablet per day and the last 20 days i consumed 2 tablets/day. I was also taking anti convolution tablet for a different reason from a different doctor for 10 days.
Now i am having erectile dysfunction. So i stopped taking the pills now. Can anybody please tell me how many days it will take usually for reversing this condition?
I have had a bad diet the last 5 years. I have been running and working out for the last 6 months, have lost about 6% body fat. My face skin is loose, and because of this it looked dull, tired and droopy. My question is weather my skin will tighten back up and how long will it take? I have some other possibilities that could have ruined me: propecia, rogaine, aqua glycolic kit from amazon. I have quit all of these. Please help, I am devastated!
Low TSH can be a sign of Hyper. But not necessarily so.
But your other symptoms are consistent with being Hyper.

m only assuming you are the average American, which is to say, overweight. If not, then simply ignore the above advice about working out.
And, I hate to break it to you, but the level of sensitivity of the tip of men varies greatly. Your lack of sensation is not particularly worrying. Heck I have very little feeling on the very tip through to about 1/4 down the tip.
