Been on Propecia and Rogaine since 17
I took this propecia pill for 5 years 1mg a day everyday.. since I was 17 with little to no side effects besides no morning erections and watery semen.. turned 22 oct 2nd of 2016.. as the months went on I felt like my penis wasn't working like it should.. my erections seemed much weaker.. I stopped being hard during sex twice with my girlfriend..
I've been taking L'Arginine and L'Orthinine to enhance muscles growth after working out in the gym.
I'm also taking 1mg of Propecia due to a hair loss problem. Are there any side effects taking both at the same time? Is L'Arginine hindering the benefits of Propecia (like make me loose hair again)?

Within the last 4 months I have noticed that when ejaculating during sex, my ejaculation is not as strong and barely comes out. I had no problems before this period with a strong ejaculation. There also seems to be less volume of fluid.( I am a 40 year old male and had a vasectomy 2 years ago.) Is this a sign of a prostate problem?
s assistant pretty much ruled out telogen effluvium, told me it was androgentic alopecia, and wrote me a prescription for Propecia. I almost wish I had not went to this appointment as I now have to decide between what this PA concluded and what seems like common sense.
Does this seem like a correct diagnosis or should I get a second opinion?

I am 39 and for the past 2 weeks have had a disturbing issue. I still strongly feel the urge for sex and am still very interested in my wife, but it suddenly is taking quite some time to get an erection. When it finally happens it is a somewhat weak one and i have to rush for fear of it going away even though everything still feels great. I do not smoke-I quit 3 years ago- I don't use drugs and drink light to moderately. I take propecia and straterra and have for years.
I think your question is fair enough. Your hair is going to fall out in excess on treatment even with the use of Propecia or Rogaine; that is just one of the unfortunate side effects. Hair restoration meds are not cheap and personally I wouldn't waste my money on it until several months after you have completed treatment.
After a potential exposure in October 2013 I had my most recent HIV test at the end of June 2014, 8 months after event. I am still suffering from extreme flu like symptoms from time to time. I'm working with my GP and have had several other tests but nothing is coming back with any ideas as to what can be causing these.
I am going back to the GP next month to speak with him again but could for example Chrons' disease cause a HIV test at 5 or 8 months to be inaccurate?
I'm 24 years old. 2 years ago something I began experiencing changes that included a loss of libido, virtually no ejaculate during orgasm, and erectile dysfunction that coincided with the taking of propecia. I only took 10 days worth of the medication and stopped after that because I couldn't deal with the side effects. These side effects did not go away though.

5 mg for one year and 1 mg for 1 year till today), In october 2016 my derm put me on accutane 10 mg and minoxiline(100mg) for treating my mild acne, I had been drinking heavily for 5 days before starting my accutane course, 10 days into the course, I started to have Gyno(Unilateral, right breast with a movable tender lump), I dropped accutane and minoxiline and also propecia after 23 days. It has been a month now but my Gyno hasnt reduced, I restarted propecia as I was starting to lose hair.
Help. My wife accidentally took propecia (3 mgs over 2 days) thinking it was something else. We are planning on having kids soon. Can there be consequences to a future pregnancy from this mistake? How long will the propecia stay in her body?
10 165lbs and over the past year I noticed quite a few scary symptoms which im not sure as to what the cause is. I caught HSV 1 two months ago. My partner transmitted his oral herpes to my genitals and also, my chin (no idea how that happened). Anyways, within two days I felt a cut sensation on my genitalia. I then went to the doctor who did a visual diagnostic and a swab. She gave me Valtrex while we waited for results.
Propecia would not cause such side effects I can assure you. Sex drive, libido, and erection issues are possibilities with longterm use of that drug. Not sores. Eliminate this as a possible correlation.
Fleet has provided the best advice. Id follow his instructions and seek a swab and blood test immediately. What you describe sounds like a herpes infection without a doubt. Multiple grouped blisters and swollen nodes are clear indicators.

My erections are not as hard as they used to be and I do not stay hard for long. I attribute my erection problems to the Propecia tablet that I take daily. As you know, Propecia is 1 mg. of finasteride. Propecia has been shown to cause side effects such as erectile problems in a small minority of users. Unfortunately, I appear to be in that small minority. Once my erection problems surfaced, I began looking for a solution.
