Went to a different doctor. Testosterone came out to 305, and my response to Viagra was the same. He said that maybe the propecia reset my system, and now my body is producing less testosterone that it needs for the sexual function that I am looking for. He said that although my testosterone levels may be normal (even though they are on the low side of the scale), my body needs more. He said that he would not recommend testosterone because too many side effects.

I was thinking I need to lower my SHBG and ESTRADIOL levels since my % Free Testosterone is off the charts low. Maybe I need more free testosterone. I really don't know much about this, please let me know what you think.

I think he is very comfortable with a low sex drive and the minimal amout of sex. I am sure the low testosterone level and the working alot of hours doesn't help matters, but I think he was like this the WHOLE time you. He might have put more effort into having the amount of sex that you wanted WHILE you all were dating and even that DIP over time.

My boyfriend is a Tc survivor and your question is definitely a valid one as we know all too well what living with low testosterone can entail. Ive mentioned this website to others even though its a testicular cancer site there is a section in the forums on this issue which may be of some help to you. www.tccancer.com. My other suggestion is to find a good endocrinologist there are tests that your PCP probably didn't run that an endo could check for you. Hope things get better soon.
I have multiple symptoms which I am starting to believe might be low testosterone. I have lost most of the hair on my legs, chest, etc., have had extreme difficulty in getting an erection, have been suffering from memory loss which seems to be getting worse (Dr. has checked for dementia/alzheimers and says not to worry), low energy, muscle definition is disappearing. These symptoms have evolved over the last 10 years but seem to be getting worse at a faster rate. I have just turned 60.
