t have any symtoms yet except feeling tired and irritablity. Do you take Prometrium? could be from that. Clomid since you took it for awhile, it's will not stay in your system by now. I am on Prometrium for 15 days after IUI.
Let's hope for BFP. the mind does plays trick on us and makes us think we are pregnant. Just relax and wait until your AF due..... I will take my HPT on 5/26.

Thanks for your comments ladies. This pain (and I'm calling it that because in the beginning it was much more than tenderness - haha) started the the day before I started the Prometrium so you're probably right Heather that it's a combination of ovulating and the medicine itself. Why is it that the days seem to go by so slowly when we're waiting for the next cycle to being?!
She just says that the doctor is going to proscribe me prometrium.. So I research the medicine and I have mix feelings about it because it has only been used on a few pregnant humans but they have tested it on animals and there fetus had no problems. OK 1. IM 6 WEEKS 2. THOSE ANSWERS ABOUT THE MEDICINE WAS NOT reassuring. .. Has anyone had low progesterone and what did you do?
Hello I am posting a new queestion. Well, I was too afraid of the oral prometrium and now will start tonight with 200 mg vaginally...I read it can make the side effects close to nothing. I am sooo scared, have panic attacks and anxiety terrible....is this from having low progesterone...will this help me-I am sooo afraid it is going to make me absolutely terrified although I have to or can lose the baby.....

Hi I was wondering if any one took prometrium during their first trimester of their pregnancy? If yes, what were the side affects? I have had one miscarriage at 4 months and I fear I am probably having another one with my second pregnancy I have been prescribed Prometrium and I am just wondering if it has done any good to any one etc.

Thanks for your kind reply. My RE only put me on these medicine. i am taking prometrium for 1 to 12 days and estradiol for daily routine.she checked my blood for whether i am ovulating or not. It was below 1. so i was not ovulating. but is there any chance to produce new egg, even if we dont have follicle?
Because I had a miscarriage last year. They put me on prometrium. As soon as I found out I was pregnant. I went to get my HCG and progesteron checked. it was HCG 130 and progesterone 45.8 which is good. But they put me on it just in case. I started seeing a new doctor now and she she is sending me to a specialist for the medicine to see if I really need to keep taking the medication, because it could be harmful to a developing fetus. My appointment is Friday.
I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and my doctor prescribed prometrium 200mg and and I have been cutting open the pill and taking the medicine that way because I can not swallow pills, so I want to know if the medication is still working in my body?

My obgyn prescribed me with prometrium because there was a possibilty that a hormone in my body was low. The same day he prescribed the meds, he ordered some labs and put me on bed rest and had me schedule a follow up in a week. I got the medicine filled at the pharmacy but wasn't exactly comfortable with taking them because my doctor informed me that prometrium is not fda approved. I decided not to take the medication.
If your prometrium is the round yellow "soft gel" type pill you can insert it vaginally. I was throwing mine up too and that is what my physician said to do.....it must have worked, I am 24 weeks preggo!!!

I have never engaged in any sexual activities and do not understand how I got this disease. I took Prometrium in the past to regulate my menstruate cycle. I did some research on this drug and one of side effects for this drug is Herpes. Is it possible this medicine could cause my immune system to produce antibodies for HSV Type 2? Or is it possible this medicine could cause a false positive or a positive blood results for Herpes Type 2? I not sure what to do next.
I've been doing some research on prometrium . I was prescribed prometrium since the month of Feb. In Feb.,I ovulated with the help of clomid and prometrium. My progesterone levels were 34. In March my cycle never came and I contacted my Dr on Apr. 9 letting her know I never had my cycle. She schedule me to take some test to take . On 14 my cycle visited and was very weird . her instructions for the prometrium is to take on cycle day 16 and continue to take until a cycle comes.
I took metformin and some type of tyroid medicine for like 6 months. I finally got my menstral to come on time every month! Which was weird to me because of it never being normal. Well anyways I went on vacation to Jordan and went to a doctor there. Literally it cost only $5 and she did everything from ultrasound to bloodwork, and said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with me! Wow! Well anyways I got on clomid for 2 months and took 2 shots of HMG Massone to get my eggs to work harder.
Then she gave me some hormone medicine to help me to have a period and I had one then also but then I didn't have another one. I have no idea what is wrong and I can't have a baby without your help. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!
Spotting can happen for many reasons, infections, sex, irritable cervix, etc. Issues that won't necessarily effect the baby. All you can do is have faith and hope that all goes well.. it sounds like you're on the right medicine and you'll be just fine!!
I was in prometrium 200mg once a day with my 3rd pregnancy..and still i m/c at 17&1/2 weeks.. and i stopped taking the prometrium at my 15&1/2weeks( i should only take them for 12 weeks, but my dr told me to continued the left pills..) still don't know the reason why,, if it's bec. i stopped taking the progesterone supplement or there is some thing else..
Hi i've undergone my 1st IVF, i'm 8 weeks pregnant and just wondering if i really need all this medicine from my doctor. I've ask the nurse and she said that i have to continue all of this medicine until delivery.
