I have also heard that if ur preggo with twins which I am its good to keep taking the prometrium to minimize the chances of premature labor. I want to know if I should stop the prometrium or keep taking it until my 12w checkup. What do u guys think?
At 22 weeks my cervix was at 50% and I'm now 27 weeks and 5 days. I've been on strict bedrest and pelvic rest since 22 weeks and I've been taking prometrium since then. My cervix now measures 1cm. But the point is take it very easy no sex and do everything the doctors say...good luck!
s in the past resulting in a singleton and twins. I also have one child with no ART (my youngest). I REALLY do not want to take any meds if possible, as I know that my body will sustain a pregnancy with no assistance. I've already refused the water u/s because my insurance will not pay for these things, and my RE is getting kind of testy with me. I read on one of these threads about someone who did an FET with no meds. Is this possible?
I had laproscopic surgery to get rid of it and was then on prometrium to raise my progesterone level and clomid to aid in ovulation and conception. Clomid is pms x1000. It makes you feel very crabby, headaches and your breast hurt. My husband said, how are we going to have sex when you are acting like a *****!
It took 3 months to conceive once I had surg. and was on meds.
I was on progesterone only once a day, prometrium (vaginally) am and pm, and finished my antibiotics. how much progesterone are you taking?
I had 2 miscarriages in the past and with this one i went on prometrium and baby aspirin although nothing was ever diagnosed either. i did not experience any bleeding as a side effect of the prometrium though. have you had a scan yet?
I had an IUI a few weeks ago and then started taking prometrium for ten days. I finished up last Wednesday so it has been 5 days. How long until I should expect my period after my last prometrium?
I have never engaged in any sexual activities and do not understand how I got this disease. I took Prometrium in the past to regulate my menstruate cycle. I did some research on this drug and one of side effects for this drug is Herpes. Is it possible this medicine could cause a false positive or a positive blood results for Herpes Type 2?
I went through an ovulation induction cycle and was put on prometrium (progesterone) to support a healthy lining. I am now 20 days past ovulation, no period, and three negative home pregnancy tests (it is now day 33 of my cycle and I am typically a 28 day cycle, like clockwork). I talked to the doctor today who told me to stop the prometrium and I should expect my period in 2-3 days.

I have had a migraine every day starting at around noon and lasting until I go to bed. I took prometrium prior to pregnancy for period induction which i took for 10 days and i would get a "withdrawl" migraine for a day or two. Have any of you ladies experienced this? I'm really getting sick of taking tylenol every 4 hours but my head throbs so bad i can't see straight if i don't. I called my doc today and of course he's out of the office.
I had to get a cleaning at the dentist last week and had to update them on my medical history and share the pregnancy and I just felt so awkward because I'm not showing yet and we don't have viability confirmed yet... I left hoping they didn't think I was indifferent or not excited about being pregnant. I WANT to be excited. Praying for a heartbeat (or two)!!!
They only took my progesterone levels once after I started the Prometrium to make sure it was theraputic and it was in the 20's don't remember exactly. But they haven't taken it again. But I've had 4 ultrasounds where we have seen baby's heartbeat and everything is well.
