Will premarin and hrt help with the anxiety that comes along with menopause? I cannot seem to get a straight answer from researching it on the net. I'm desperate for help.
I was given a mare with a 10 day old colt. It was sort of a rescue thing. I do not know alot about Mares and babies and where I board has never dealt with it either, She deals mostly with geldings, My Mare has a huge belly. She by no means looks like she just had a baby 10 days ago, Her utter is not full but does seem to have a bit of milk in it.
The colt has been eating hay and drinking water since we got him but still tries to nurse.
The issue with stem cell rescue has little to do with the stem cells, they simply rescue the bone marrow (white cells, red cells and platelets) which would take too long to recover with the large doses of chemotherapy. The issue is likely with the chemotherapy. Certainly, it is well documented that chemotherapy can have long term effects. Chemobrain is becoming better understood and though most people seem to improve within a year or two, for some the fog seems to last longer.
I was diagnosed for missed abortion last May 17,2008 (as seen in the Ultrasound,the baby has no heart beat) i was administered a premarin 0.62 mg every 6 hours, the doctor said to soften the cervix as well as cytotec 200 mg every 8 hours. I was wondering why i should be given premarin? I have read that premarin is mainly estrogen.. Do i need to continuously use this product? They are waiting for me to bleed for them to be able to perform the D&C. Please advise asap...

I took the 1/2 pill with great caution as my mom took premarin for many years and ended up with breast cancer which eventually took her life 5 years ago). I have been tortured since stopping my premarin regime. I don't think I have had a full nights sleep since - in fact last evening the first wake up was at 3:38 and then I had 5 more flashes before I finally got out of bed and started my day with more flashes. My gen practioner has suggested prozac ... sorry but that seems a bit severe.
I suffer from Hashimotos autoimmune disease for many years and was diagnosed last year with Lupus after suffering many years with leukopenia which was caused by the Lupus or the Premarin. could anyone explain the reason for my mare suddenly falling over, i was riding her in our manege today, all was well until i started to do canter work. I was working her on the right rein in canter, approaching the corner, when suddenly she fell to the right side.She got back up quickly, shaking the sand off her, but seemed a little dazed.Is this because she is unbalanced, or something else, the sand was dry, due to the fine weather we are having at the moment. i had full hysterectomy in october 2009 for ovarian cyst. then my doctor gave me premarin 0.06 1 tablet per day.this medicine is very good.i feel very well to take this.but there is a problem .in 2009 i was 45 kg and now i am 65 kg.please help me and give me a suggestion what will i do and how will i reduce my overweight.
I had a total hysterectomy 20 years ago. I was prescribed Premarin daily which I took for the next 15 year until the scare of it being direclty involved in the cause of some breast cancers. I stopped immediately. I have fought the battle of hot flashes for the past 6 years and they are starting to taper off. I am now 61 years old. But I have have an increasing problem with hair loss.
Did the blood test route, etc., took whopping doses of Viatmin D and got put on Premarin, the lowest dose. I did not do well on that. I became actually worse, emotionally and it didn't help the sweats, irritability or anything. My doctor told me to try Estroven, and it's better, but I still feel like crap. I don't sleep well at all, I am irritable and snappish and that is NOT my personality. A friend told me she was in a similar state and took bio-identicals.
Feeding time is what he lives for even though he gets out and is not neglected. We also have a mare with him, but she is not the dominant horse... he is. They get alfalfa and grass hay and he gets a Purina supplement. The mare is fat and he is bony. He's never been sick and has always been an easy keeper. Any ideas out there. I'm curious how the other horses in this discussion have done over time.
Hello: hoping somebody can help me. I have been on Premarin.625mg for 7 months and did very well. Before that, I had tried everything else with very little improvement. Before Premarin I was having hot flashes, anxiety, and terrible insomnia. After the first few days of taking Premarin, I began to notice great improvement. My hot flashes went away and insomnia disappeared. I had a few bumps along the way but then everything balanced out. Now, the old symptoms have returned with a vengeance.
