I have heard that Lyrica actually worse that Gabapentin for the weight gain. I have gained a bit on the gabapentin too, but my mother was on Lyric and gained 30 lbs. in a VERY short time. you might want to reconsider it. I donèt know if it is a body type and condition that causes the weight gain, but I have heard it alot from people on Lyrica. Just check it out Pat, and see what your Dr.

i've had Keinbocks Disease for over 10 years now, have had 4 operations each one worse than the last but nothing seems to be working. I've been taking TRAMADOL and PREGABALIN for about 4 years now but the pain is getting worse and meds aren't controlling it.Does anyone know of a medication or procedure for this disease that actually works!

Very sadly ppl in chronic pain have been driven to all kinds sources to treat it. I don't condone buying opiates off the street, especially such a complex med like Methadone. I can guarantee not only will your pain come back, but you will so miserable! I take its cousin, pregabalin, for nerve pain in my back, and occasionally I run low on them and you would not believe how many aches and pains a person really has until they quit a drug to help all that. So my GP prescribed me static neck exercise, swimming and prescribed to take Pregabalin-M 75 (Pregabalin-Methylcobalamine tablets 75mg) For 1 month and then stop. I took 5 doses yet. But I'm having this following side-effects - dizziness, sleepiness whole day, lack of interest and and concentration, bad mood, sexually charged dreams, erection problem and lack of libido or interest in sexual desire. I have a high libido by default. But I'm not feeling it since I took the medicines.

I just started Gabapentin yesterday, last night. I have had pain for way too long, feel a bit foggy like in a haze but nerve pain has eased some. I am also taking hydrocoapap 7.5-325. I have recently started taking pregabalin for GAD and I can honestly tell that it is a miracle drug for me. It has been a week now since I have started taking 50mg pragabalin after meal. All of my GAD symptoms have gone. I don't feel severe anxiety, constant restlessness (akathesia), social anxiety, muscle tension, depression, panic attack e.t.c.
