I took a second x-ray showing my lungs are clear of any pneumonia infection. This was 3 weeks ago but now I'm still feeling ill. No cough is present and I'm not as sick as I was with pneumonia but I still feel fatigued. Is it pneumonia all over again or some other infection. I seem to have a sore throat also now.

She spent a week sick at home before going to the hospital where she was diagnosed with pneumonia. On the second day in the hospital she became confused and agitated. I took zpac for pneumonia in October and right after stopping I started having PVCs very regularly. They are there just about all the time. When I wake up , all day and at night. I have tried no caffiene and no alcohol and there is not change. If they were caused by the zpac can I expect them to go away?
3 CM are still there as well as the nodule in my lung not related to pneumonia. I do notice if I drink alcohol the flu symptoms are exaserbated and the night sweats get pretty bad to the point of soaking down to my mattress. So I don't know if I should just go get a second opinion, or take extra good care of myself, eat well, sleep as much as I can, exercise and don't touch alcohol. Then see what the next CT scan in March shows.

My baby has been diagnosed with pneumonia, a week ago. She still acts as if she is in pain, and has short rapid breaths. She is on Zeniquin, and a pain med. I was feeling pretty bad coughing wheezing, bad chest pain. My friend and I diagnosed it as brochitis or pneumonia so I took 7 Levaquin, one a day for 7 days (had it in the house). Still felt bad after a week or so and went to my doctor who prescribed same Levaquin 500 mg for 7 days. My doctor ordered chest xrays and blood work. Blood work was just a little off she said not sure what was high or low as this was told to me over the phone.
It showed pneumonia in the bottom of both lungs.. I took cipiro for 2 weeks...Felt better now Im coughing bad and coughing up yellow phelghm. New xrays showed nothing.Whats going on? And what kind of pneumiona lives in the bottom of the lungs?
