I starting using the phentermine after i stopped using cocaine after 15 years and gained a lot of weight. dr. 1st prescribed to loose weight because he did not know I was a recovering addict, and wala plecibo! I feel all i did was trade the illegal drug for a legal one, although i have purchased phentermine off the internet for years.
How much phentermine is too much? I took 8 (37.5) today all spaced out about 2 per 6 hours. I can't sleep and I am really thirsty but that seems to be about it. I just don't want to overdose.

I decided to go to a local Weight Loss Clinic because I had already exhausted my options, and they prescribed 30mg of Phentermine as an appetite suppressant.
I didn't really realize the risk of dependency or how powerful this drug could be. I went from 150 lbs to 140 lbs in about a month and have stayed there, although that isn't my ideal weight. However, I didn't want to become addicited or reliant on a Rx.

I have been taking Phentermine for about a week and I have a lot of red, ichy bumps (they look and are symptomic as mosquito bites generally behave). If I didn't know better I would think they were mosquito bites! I have learned so much in holistics and holistic weight loss. I was trying to loose a few stubborn pounds and the doctor put me on phentermine about 7 or 8 months ago. I was put on a medicine (synthroid) for a thyroid goiter that royally messed me up. I have been off this terrible thyroid stuff almost a month now. My energy has not came back. I used to love going to the gym, and prefer healthy food. I am up 6lbs since I started phentermine.

Wait it out. Phentermine is nothing but caffeine, and the pharmacist and doctor should have told you to reduce your caffein intake. If they didnt, then it was in your package insert when you get the medicine filled.
Right now all you can do is wait it out. Rest, drink lots of water and NO MORE ENERGY DRINKS. Never, ever do that again. You are going to cause yourself to have heart problems do to the excessive amount of caffeine.
I have been taking Phentermine 37.5 and synthroid .088 for about 4 months now. I just found out a few days ago I am pregnant. I figured I should stop taking the Phentermine but I didn't know if it would have any effects on the baby already. Also I did not know if I can continue to take the synthroid?
Since then, I have started to see a Weight Management doctor for my weight issues related to the PCOS. The wight doctor put me on Phentermine. I am supposed to start these tomorrow but am a little concerned if Phentermine and a Beta Blocker can be taken safely together under my certain circumstances and if I should have any concerns regarding my already strained heart, while on something like Phentermine?

which do u feel is ur doc? or do u have one?...the phentermine can be stopped without and physical wds...mental tho...the tabs will cause some physical and mental discomfort...the ambien and benzos shoule be tapered...if i had to do it one at a time...i would do the phentermine..then the hydro shortly after...then the ambien with a taper then the benzo with a taper..professional help may benefit u tremendously...or perhaps u can go alone...i would seek guidance myself but everyone is different.
My father is 52 yrs. old, he's been insulin dependent for about 15yrs. He's 5'7 and weighs about 200lb. He really doesn't follow a diet. He eats whatever he wants, but when he checks his blood and it's about 300 or 400 he just injects his insulin. Since he eats whatever he wants, he doesn't lose any weight. Doctor's have told him he needs to lose weight. He also has had high cholesterol, but took some meds and it's normal now.
My doctor also prescribed taking metformin(glucophage) in addition to the phentermine and birth control. I have lost about 8 pounds in the last month since taking the phentermine but i dont feel like I am losing enough weight for how little i have been eating.
blood sugar dropping rapidly when after exercise. My doctor said it could be the phentermine but that the metformin xr could also be reacting to the phentermine. I stoped the metformin, felt better then my sugar started going up. I started the metformin at half the dosage since i am 13lbs lighter on friday night, today i am in severe abdominal pain, belching, horrible gas, nauseous, and vomiting which smells very acidic. Could this be too much ketones, or the medicine?
I prescribed60 mg of adderall but one week I had to take left over phentermine and 10mg adderall and my focusing was great and energy and I still do take 1/3 of phentermine a day.
