The test strips that I use are 10LG Parameter Urine Reagent Strips which can be bought on line at a reasonable price. These strips detect Leukocytes, Nitrite, Urobilinogen, Protein, pH, Blood, Specific Gravity, Ketone, Bilirubin, Glucose. You can get strips that detect less. The one that would be of interest if someone is suffering from dehydration is the Specific Gravity reading.

It could be urine or it could be fluid. Go to walmart and pick up some ph test strips from the fishie section! U should be able to test it that way! Urine is acidic whereas amniotic fluid is not!

You can always buy test strips at target or pharmacy. PH strips you can test the discharge and it will tell you if its just urine or amniotic fluid.

You can also purchase urine PH strips over the counter at a local pharmacy and check the PH yourself. Diet plays a major role in Urine PH as well. What do you feed? If your dog had a culture and sensitivity run on her urine, that would tell you the exact bacteria responsible and give you the best antibiotic to eliminate it. Conformation of a dogs vulvar area can also be a factor.

Ok so i bought these test strips that teest to see if your leaking fluid or not of course i found them in the fish tank section i heard u can use those aslo well ive been checkin every now and then bit its always at like a 6.2(acidic) well today i peed on a qtip swabed from end of vajay to front t.m.i sorry but wen i put it on the test strip it was reading ph 7.
