I can tell you that I was on SUB for 8 months and had to take UAs every once in a while. The test included morphine, oxy, and a couple other opiates...and my sub never made any of those show up as positive.
I really don't think it will show up. Plus, you are taking it legally for a physical ailment. You shouldn't have to worry.
Don't worry about the silly test. If it's a urine test the medications will show up in your urine, especially the methadone. It has a very long half life. Please reconsider the way you are taking your medication and be honest with your self and the doctors. You will be much better off in the short and long run. good luck.
Have you been notified of the results of the test results of the urine test ? It likely showed little to no amount of Percocet from the flushing of water and diuretic combo. There really isn’t much you can do at this point, other than to not consume mega amounts of water in the days before your appt, in the event you are tested again, and take the meds exactly as prescribed. I would avoid the diuretic as well in the week leading up to an appt.
If I took one. 5 mg. percocet on 9/8 and did a drug screening at work on 9/21 and it came back positive is this possible? I also did another instant urine on 9/23 and that came back negative. Can the drug company be wrong? Which results are right. Also took Ibeprophen 500 & amoxacillan on 9/11. Someone please give me some good news my job of 18 yrs. depends on it.
Because the physician is thinking already that some of the percocet had been sold on the black market and that of course it is going to show up when the patient takes some in the office and then gets a urine test but where did the other percocet go??? I truly believe the patient in this case took the other percocet as prescribed for pain. This is simply an example of what many physicians think when the drug does not show up in the patient's urine.
Your baby's blood and urine should be clean if you have not used anything in a while, however as you know, meconium will show all drugs you used passed 20th week of pregnancy. Good luck to you and congratulation.
This means your urine test was sent for both qualitative and quantative testing. A positive/negative result but also confirmation you are taking meds exactly as they are prescribed. From your post, it seems you may not be if you are ‘running short’. Patients have a responsibility to take the meds exactly as prescribed, not more, not less , UNLESS and UNTIL you have gotten your drs consent BEFORE taking more.
I went to my pain management and they found something called suboxin in me, I got a pill at a picnic, they told me it was anti inflammatory drugs, so they were mad at me, also I got percocet from my gyno, I had percocet and my norco in me but I don't remember taking my opana that they gave me, will I still be able to get my medications, they gave me enough for ten days and have to go back in fourteen days, I really do need my medication my bones are fussing together and it is very painful to
It all depends on the test they use. If they use a basic urine test that only test for opiates then they will test the same. However, if they use a lab for testing it will be able to tell what meds you took.
I can totally understand family issues, etc. But when going to a pain clinic those rules have to be followed. Pain docs are the most watched docs out there. So there license is on the line which means many times they will fire the patient to protect their license...
Before I became pregnant I was receiving care from a pain management Dr. From a back injury I sustained from a car accident. I would do back injections combined with being prescribed percocet as part of my treatment. Once I became pregnant, I told my pain management Dr & we both agreed to discontinue treatment during my pregnancy. Everything was fine until about 34 weeks pregnant, when I slipped & fell down about 8 stairs at work.
Never has she asked for a Urine Drug Screen. Last month I called in to get a refill on my Percocet and she told me I needed to do a Random Urine Drug Screen. I went and the nurse calls me to inform me that the Dr will no longer be able to give me any more Percocet or Klonopin seems my Urine Drug Screen showed that I was negative for both drugs. I told her I had taken 2 Percocet the day before and I take my Klonopin daily before bed.
I would tell your doctor just to be safe and relief your anxiety about it.
is it a routine urine test or are they looking to see if you took drugs?
Just be honest especially since you are pregnant.
both of those time estimates are for urine test, hair test are a whole other story. that can detect opioids and other drugs for far longer than urine or blood test. if you have any other questions about any opioid or opiate let me know, i studied pharmacology and am in training to be a substance abuse counselor, take methadone daily, and for some reason am obsessed with leaning everything I can about drugs, so feel free whenever..
I have taken 2 CT scans, an Ultra sound, IVP, Renal Scan, x-ray of the bladder, X-rays, and a scope of my stomach--all test were negative except for the scope which showed 4 ulcers in my stomach. The pain I have been suffering from (7 weeks to be exact) is on my right side lower back. I also have a stitch from the pain going along the side of my stomach and traces of urine in my blood. No one can seem to find out what is wrong other than to keep giving me Percocet for the pain.
