thank you for answering my question.i have not seen a gynecologist yet.but planning to now.and yes i do have very very painful periods and heavy flows .
I am still young (young enough to the point where my mom still controls my medicine). I have extremely painful periods. I cry, throw up, and usually miss a whole day of classes due to cramps. I've seen a doctor and they suggested birth control but my family tries to stick to the catholic faith with that topic. My mom was put on birth control not long after that due to an extremely heavy flow.
im only 20 but for as long as I can remember I have had painful sex for a long time everything else down there was normal but lately I have been having really bad low pelvis pain mainly on the left side but sometimes on the right I have also been experiencing ance and low sex drive and heavy periods.
I had my tubes tied in 2005 and before that my periods lasted for about a week with very little pain and always regular. After I had the procedure I have periods that are very heavy, last for about 4-5 days and sometimes I have 2 periods in a month. in the last 6-9 months I have also been experiencing severe cramps and pass very large clots, and I feel a pressure in my pelvis that is very similar to when I was in labor. Is this something that some women experience or should I be concerned?

I started my periods age 15. They started out being every 3 weeks, lasting 8-9 days, fairly heavy, and painful. Seeing as I'm small and quite light (back then around 41kg/90lbs), I was put on the contraceptive pill to reduce the frequency and length of my periods. However, the pill didn't change the flow or the amount of pain.
I also for almost 2 years now have had really weird menstrual periods( very very heavy one month and very little another month) most of the time they are heavy. also during this time i have been having back pain and abdominal pain. It comes and goes, sometimes with pain and sometimes without. For the past 2 days I have been haveing quite a lot red and brown blood when i wipe or just in my panties. Anyone has any clue?

I recently just got my first regular period after having it put in and holy is it heavy!!!! Ive never had heavy periods or anything so i dont know if i like this... Can anyone else whos had the copper iud longer fill me in on if the heavy periods get any better???? I mean... I had the paragaurd for 6 years. No complications. I chose it because it was no hormonal. I didn't have heavy or missed periods. My periods were regular always 4 days.I had mine removed late May had a regular period in June and was pregnant in July. I'm not good with taking pills and I know to many people who get the depo shot and have mustaches and extra weight and the implant just didn't sit right with me. I couldn't get over something being under my skin.
I already get extremely heavy periods as it is that make me feel so sick I crawl up in a ball and wish to just die - But this one was just HORRIBLE. I cannot explain how heavy or painful it was. Luckily my pain only lasts for one day when I gtet my period. But the blood would just not stop! Then, out of the blue, it just did, after about the normal amount of days my period normally lasts. I went a few days without my period. It was great.
2 periods since then.lots of sex from july 3rd-july 15th.....1st period painful but a little better than previous.....2nd period a tad better but strted off weired...started heavy and painful...3rd day light with clots 4th day light an brownish. on day 5 no period had sex. 5 days after period ends cramping like period is coming back and feeling a little weird. Extremely tired but no other prego symptoms........3 prego test....2 urine one blood all negative...... has anyone else had this issue..
Right ok, i came on my period this month about 3 days early, i just started straight away out of the blue, no discharge or anything. It was heavy but a very light colour. It lasted 3 days at a heavy flow, but then it stopped all of a sudden again with no discharge like normal. But then a few hours later i started to bleed again after i had sex with my partner? What can this be?
I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years and we have had sex before. And he's pretty big, but it hasn't been an issue before. But we have started to have more sex, a lot more then usual. But now these last few times we've had sex I've started bleeding halfway in. I don't know why or if he's torn my vagina from pushing in to hard or what. But the first time I felt like it tore the sex was a little rough.
m just going to have to come to terms with the fact that penetrative sex is painful, so I should just stick to oral sex and mutual masturbation. I find this to be an unsatisfactory answer. I have also been told to "learn how to have pain free sex," with no further explanation.
I do have vaginal endo, I had an exam to see if the tendons around my vagina have hardened, which is the most common cause of this type of pain. As it turns out they have not hardened or become tight.
