Avatar m tn Is Oxybutynin dangerous to dogs? I am not sure my dog ate a pill, but I did drop 1 or 2 on the floor. I found one. My 6-month-old spaniel/lab mix is about 30 lbs.
Avatar f tn Also make sure to take note of oral magnesium replacement and transdermal Mg at the same time. Oral Mg takes 6 to 12 months before it would build up enough in your system, while transdermal Mg will work instantly but you have to spray it on frequently. I got used to it. I use both but oral replacement is much simpler eventually. I have put my whole household, friends and family on Mg supplementation. You probably will end up doing the same once you do your research.

Avatar f tn Funny enough you mention this I took Oxybutynin for awhile and a bit excessively, I keep thinking that this messed up my gut and caused this curse of a phenomenon.

Avatar f tn The information available says one should be instructed not to discontinue therapy without consulting their physician because sudden stopping has, in some cases, resulted in symptoms such as nervousness, agitation, headache, and confusion accompanied or followed by a rapid rise in blood pressure and elevated catecholamine concentrations in the plasma.

358304 tn?1409709492 I came up with something interesting... TRANSDERMAL MAGNESIUM . It says that anxiety and panic are caused my lack of magnesium and other minerals and nutrients. We eat so much **** this day in age... even if it seems healthy, foods are processed... and lack so many nutrients and minerals. Do you think this could be true? I'm thinking about giving it a shot... and coming off my lexapro... if it doesnt work I'll go back on the lexapro. I've only been taking lexapro for 2weeks now.

Avatar f tn I'm 33 year old male, I was diagnosed with phimosis 2yrs ago. I've been having the constant urge to urinate but with only a low flow and sometimes spraying. I've been through testing for uti, std, bladder cancer (cystoscopy) but yet know one can give me an answer as to why I always have the urge. I've taken meds (flomax, oxybutynin, and diptromin) none of them worked. Help!!! I'm to young for this to be happening.

988694 tn?1332359479 There is transdermal (through the skin) magnesium. Not sure how this will go if you develop hives easily. You could try testing before buying. I bought Ancient Minerals transdermal (through the skin) oil at my local health food store. I found it stings a bit sometimes so i splash a bit of water onto the area and it's fine. The Ancient Minerals "Transdermal Magnesium Therapy" and "Magnesium Application and Use" articles are very informative.
Avatar f tn Yes, you will still experience withdrawals until the Fentanyl has a chance to absorb into your system....Most likely they gave you transdermal patches and they absorb through the skin.... This all depends what you want to do.....If you TRULY want to get off of narcotic pain relievers then throw them away! The longer you go on with this stuff the harder it will be to detox....I hope that you can come clean with your doctors and get the help you need to get sober....Good luck and God bless!
Avatar f tn org/drugs-supplements/estradiol-transdermal-route/side-effects/drg-20075306 However, most women really tolerate it pretty well. The half life of this is pretty short meaning it washes out of your system pretty quickly too.
Avatar m tn The drug is int he stick so if the stick has gone then nothing is going I to the system. Putting tape on can just keep the stick from being worn away such as through clothing. You need to keep wearing it so that the level of drug stays stable in your system, if you take them on and off it will simply cause more problems in the long term. It can take days for you to build up the correct level not hours and you really need to make sure you listen to and take advice of your doctor.

Avatar f tn Hello Everyone, I am a 32 male, 5'10, 205lbs. I work out 5-6 times a week and eat on the healthier side. As far back as I can remember I get hot extremely easily and sweat profusely on my forehead, middle of my chest, and middle of my back. The heat seems to come in almost a wave, and I can feel it rising until it reaches my head(hope this description makes sense), and I can never seem to cool down. An odd part about this is, on occasion, my feet will be extremely cold at the same time.
Avatar f tn I just recently started using the Nicotine Transdermal Patch to help me quit smoking. I made the mistake of not reading the entire information slip before starting it. Right now I am on the 21 mg patch, and I have been smoking a little here and there after taking off the patch. I have a severe headache, I am nausious, my lungs feel like their closes up, which is making my asthma worse, and now I have a pain in my right arm. Is this a sign of a nicotine overdose? If so, what should I do?
